This paper presents a lockup clutch damper design in torque converter to minimize the vibration in powertrain of automatic transmission vehicle. The lockup clutch in torque converter makes engine and transmission connected directly. When the lockup clutch is engaged the torque fluctuation of engine is attenuated by the damper system. This function decides the vehicle powertrain dynamic characteristics. To calculate dynamic characteristics, the vehicle model is structured by using AMESim<SUP>®</SUP> that is a common use program. The vehicle model shows the frequency response of vehicle by changing the stiffness of damper spring, and these results lead the most suitable stiffness of spring. Also, this study proposes new damper system through analyzing resonance frequency variation by changing the path of power transferring.

This paper presents the noise analysis technique and the radiation sound improve method for the torque converter of auto transmission vehicles, and the experiment of radiation sound measurement proves the method to be adequate. The ambient noise of the torque converter is not the form of the resonance coming from a specific rotational frequency. but reaction to frequency ingredient sensitively to appear the Order line. This article analyzes the occurrence factor of the ambient noise and proves that the ambient noise of the torque converter depends on numbers of the impeller blades. This paper proves that the ambient noise is reduced after increasing the number of blades, and presents the adequacy of this method.
장기공공임대주택의 입주자격 및 임대료체계 개선방향 연구

이 연구는 우리나라 20년 이상 장기공공임대주택의 입주자격과 임대료체계의 문제점을 분석하고 개선방향을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구의 결과와 시사점을 정리하면 다음과 같다. 2013년 말, 우리나라 공공임대주택 재고는 총 86.2만호로 전체 가구수의 4.7%를 차지하고 있다. 모든 유형의 장기공공임대주택의 임대료가 국토교통부가 정한 기준보다 매우 낮은 수준에서 결정되고 있으며. 소득 1-2분위 가구의 23.4%, 최근 공급된 공공임대주택 거주가구 중 일부는 임대료부담이 매우 큰 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 영국과 일본은 건설원가와 정부보조금을 기초로 산정하던 공공임대주택의 임대료가 거주자의 소득수준과 주택의 상대적 가치를 반영하지 못함에 따라 이를 해결하기 위해 각각 2002년과 1996년 임대료체계의 개혁을 실시하였다. 우리나라의 장기공공임대주택의 입주자격과 임대료체계의 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 공공임대주택의 재고를 감안하여 입주자격을 강화하고 주거빈곤가구와 저소득층이 우선 입주할 수 있도록 개선하거나, 우선순위가 있는 대기자명부를 이용하여 입주자를 선정할 필요가 있다. 또한 거주자격에 대한 기준을 신설하여 입주자의 소득 및 자산을 주기적으로 모니터링하고, 이에 대한 후속조치를 마련하여야 한다. 그리고 공공임대주택의 임대료체계를 개혁할 필요가 있으며, 이는 사업주체의 재무건전성과 임차인의 부담능력을 동시에 고려하여야 한다. 공공임대주택 정책의 지속가능성을 위해서 공공임대주택의 유형통합을 전제로 시세연동형 또는 소득연동형 임대료체계로 개선을 고려할 필요가 있다. This study intends to examine the conditions and characteristics of the long-term public rental housing and make policy suggestions for improving its rent assessment system and eligibility rules. Major findings of this investigation are as follows. First, the number of long-term public rental housing amounts to 862 thousand in 2013 which accounts for 4.7 percent of the number of households in Korea. However, current rent of the public rental housing does not seem to be affordable as 23.4 percent of low-income households pay rent over 30 percent of their monthly income. Second, both United Kingdom and Japan have reformed the rent system of their public rental housing because it did not consider the residents’ level of income and the relative value the public housing. In order to improve our long-term public rental housing system, it is necessary to make reforms of current eligibility rules and rent assessment system. Careful consideration should be given to low-income households to improve current living environment. Therefore, it is needed to separate living-in criteria from eligibility rules and evaluate residents’ living-in qualifications on a regular basis. Also, current rent system of the long-term public rental housing should be shifted from cost-based rent to market rent with a discount according to the households’ level of income.

Purpose: We wanted to further analyze the qualities that influence Korean medical students on their decision to choose each of the specialized areas of medicine. Methods: We were able to obtain questionnaires from 394 students of Y University, School of Medicine. The students rated the various influential factors for specialty selection by using a five-point Likert scale. Result: The factors found to influence the selection of popular specialties were gender, grades/scores, lifestyle attributes, and residency issues. Patient contact, lifestyle attributes, prospects, income prospects, and health care policies were significantly rated factors for choosing clinical-oriented specialties. For the selection of Medical specialties, gender, income, social responsibilities, income prospects, and malpractice insurance costs were the influential factors. Gender, 3rd year students, social responsibilities, prospects, income prospects, and society s views on medical profession affected the students decisions to choose the major specialties. Conclusion: Based on the results of our study, we can conclude that gender and income prospects are some of the most significant factors affecting a student s selection of a specialty. These results suggest reform and improvement for a more stable health care policy and management strategies.

This paper presents an algorithm for the precision motion control based on the dynamic characteristics of piezoelectric actuators in the inchworm. The dynamic characteristics are identified by the frequency domain modeling technique using the experimental data. For the motion control, the hysteresis behavior is compensated by the inverse hysteresis model. The dynamic stiffness of an inchworm is generally low compared to its driving condition, so mechanical vibration may degenerate the motion accuracy of the inchworm. The Sliding mode controller and the Kalman filter are designed for motion control of the inch-worm.
