In this paper, we implement a high-performance haptic rendering algorithm to derive a haptic device by means of a fast collision detection for high-resolution 3D models and a kinematic simulation for a multilinked body in order to represent the interaction of virtual objects that enhances the sense of immersion. We implement a fast serial collision detection algorithm that can handles meshes of more than 10,000 concave triangles. For this purpose, we develop a data conversion technique, which is free of commercial license, that can import a conventional modeling/CAD software models. We evaluate the quantitative performance analysis for various collision detection algorithms that are based on bounding volume hierarchy and space partitioning techniques. We design a data structure that contains geometry, rendering properties, and physical properties for haptic rendering purposes.

Presented in this paper is an automated scanning procedure of a dental impression that utilizes an 3D scanner system. The proposed procedure identifies missing areas from the initial scanning data from default orientations and attempts to locate additional scanning orientations to fill the missing areas. The core part of the proposed procedure is an algorithm that computes additional scanning orientations using the information of the missing areas. The algorithm was designed carefully by considering three major technological requirements of the problem: dual visibility, reliability, and efficiency. To satisfy the dual visibility requirement, the proposed algorithm uses the concept of a visibility map as well as the diameter of a spherical polygon.

DAF (Dissolved air flotation) 공정에서 공기포화장치(Saturator)와 미세기포 발생노즐은 미세기포 형성에 중요한 영향을 미치는 장치이다. 미세기포 발생 효율을 증가시키기 위해서는 공기포화장치 용기 안에서 기-액 접촉 효율을 증가시키고, 미세기포 발생노즐까지 이송 배관 내 압력을 일정하게 유지해 주어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 공기포화장치 내 순환수 유입 분사노 즐과 포화수 이송 배관, 미세기포 발생노즐에 의한 미세기포 발생에 미치는 영향을 공기체적법과 기포 크기, 기포의 잔류시간 측정을 통해 비교해 보았다. 순환수 유입 분사노즐을 설치하고, 포화수의 이송 배관 내 압력손실이 발생하지 않는 구조, 미세 기포 발생노즐의 통과유속을 증가시킬 경우 미세기포 발생 성능이 증가하였다. The saturator and injection nozzle are important facilities on the dissolved air flotation process. To increase the formation of micro bubble, it is required to improve the air dissolving performance in the saturator and keep the pressure uniform from the saturator to the nozzle. This study aimed to evaluate the performance of the saturator and the hydraulic effect of the nozzle and the pipe structure. The air volume concentration, bubble size and bubble residual time were measured in the test. The saturator, which had mounted with the spray nozzle, showed a good performance for bubble formation. Also, the characteristics of micro bubble formation were influenced by pressure uniformity and flow velocity through the orifice in the nozzle.

The correlation among days to germination, days to flower, days to seed ripening and number of seeds per a pod and their combining were studied in 15 F<sub>1</sub>s from the partial six-parent diallel cross in Petunia hybrida. The days to flowering, days to germination and seed number per a pod showed high positive correlation together, however germination percentage and number of seed showed negative correlation with days to ability(SCA) were highly significant for all the characters. The estimates of variance components of SCA were greater than those of GCA for all the characters, showing preponderance of non-additive gene actions for these characters. The line of A and C showed relatively high GCA effect for days to germination and days to flower and the lines of C and G for germination, days to seed ripening and number of seeds per a pod. The crosses of D×G and E×F exhibited high SCA effect for decreasing days to flower and days to germination, and increasing germination percentage and number of seeds per a pod. The broad sense heritability was generally high compared to narrow sense one in the 5 characters. The higher heritability values of both broad and narrow sense were shown in the days to ripening and number of seeds per a pod.

Purpose: There has been a substantive expansion of FCEV in the hydrogen economy. According to the government’s policy, the installation and operation of HRSs (Hydrogen Refueling Station) are expected to be carried out rapidly. However, the types of failures among the major devices of HRS such as compressors, coolers, and dispensers, and technologies related to the safety and reliability of data are not well disclosed. In the case of foreign (Germany, France, etc.) products of HRS in Korea, it is not easy to access technology, and to reduce risks in operating HRS, it is necessary to solve the problem in this area. Methods: HRSs are required to have the highest level of safety and reliability, but due to certain terms and conditions among suppliers, the main characteristics of the technology are not openly available. Based on the analysis done, in this paper we suggest improvement plans to curb the problems mentioned above. Results: PHM(Prognostics and Health Management) through failure type analysis of similar devices and safety-based real-time risk severity rating of HRS through technology that collects, analyzes, and evaluates and judges functional safety real-time safety risk data based on operational data are extremely important. A monitoring technique was presented to collect results through the methods mentioned above. Conclusion: In order to secure safety for safety-based risk reduction for an HRS’s operation, site selection for an HRS that meets functional safety and construction requirements is needed. It is also important that the required technology selected for this purpose, presented by the HRS standard, be applied to design. In addition, post-maintenance technology that can sustain risk reduction is also required.
