자하철역에서의 공기질 평가에 관한 연구 : PM-10 및 중금속

Subway has been used one of major public transportations because of overpopulation and heavy traffic problems in the metropolitan areas. In this study, continuous date of PM-10(particles with aerodynamic diameter < 10um) and heavy metal concentration measurements for autumn and winter period were analysed. These measurements have been carried out at the outdoor, concourse, platform, tunnel. The study results showed that the average seasonal concentration of PM-10 particles were 181.01㎍/㎥ in autumn and 129.03㎍/㎥ in winter, respectively. The concentration of Fe, Cu showed the largest peak concentrations during the respective season.

The effect of airconditioning and heating system when aircurtains installed in subway electrical rolling stock at entrance door. It blocks cold/hot air of outside. It is good for health with its blocking effect against dusts exhaust fumes, odor bugs and smoke from outside. It always maintains clean and pleasant atmosphere inside. It helps you to have health with its ever-equal temperature distribution at inside. It saves lots of maintenance cost for heating/cooling (about 86%) since it cuts the loss of hot air under heating as well as of cold air under air-conditionin. Customers can feel pleasant go in and out (better than before) with the door. It is an indispensable product for the employers to cut the cost. It makes customers feel pleasant near doors, since it isnt influenced by temperature difference of cold/hot air when the door opens/closes. In electrical rolling stock passenger temperature is a lot different from that the door opens/closes. One of the main aims is to create an acceptable thermal environment without draught problem. Temperature, gradients when aircurtains installed in subway electrical rolling stock at entrance door have been studied. And the temperature measured at 0.1, 0.5,,1.3,1.7m above the floor. It has been found that temperature, with large fluctuations caused more draught influence.

In this study, continuous date of PM-to (particles with aerodynamic diameter < 10㎛) and heavy metal concentration measurements for winter, spring and summer. These measurements have been carried out in the outdoor, concourse, platform, tunnel. The study results showed that the average seasonally concentration of PM-10 particles were 141.57㎍/㎥ in winter, 129.34㎍/㎥ in spring and 122.73㎍/㎥. The average concentration of PM-10 particles at indoor higher than outdoor. The concentration of Fe, Cu, showed the largest peak concentrations during the respective season.

Greenhouse gas and energy reduction goal management system is announced to reduce national CO2 emission in 2011. The target business sector of the system has to follow the procedure of the system and get the assessment. The percentage of the national CO2 reduction goad is 30 % compared to the amounts of BAU. In railway business sector 6 bodies are included in this system so that railway industry cannot stay and sustain its better position any more than other transportation industry. Most of the industry except Railway industry is struggling to develop its product more environmentally friendly and get the 3rd party certification like Eco-labelling and Carbon footprint. To get environmental certification LCA method has to be applied because life cycle approach is needed to respond current environmental requirement. The purpose of this project is to facilitate railway vehicle manufacturer obtaining the environmental certification termed Korea EPD. By doing so the environmental performance evaluation tool would be developed and modelled within the LCA framework and therefore applied especially for rail vehicle

Recently, interest in hygiene has been arouse in the health care field. Consequently, Filters with antibacterial agent applied to improve air quality by sterilizing bacteria, fungi, etc. We actually installed antibacterial air filter containing 2.5wt%Ag zeolite on the air intake route to air-conditioner in passenger car, and evaluated filter"s performance on antibacterial effect. By the microbe liquid spattering method, we found that the antibacterial air filter has notably sufficient antibacterial efficiency against standard strains and wild type strains. Antibacterial effect was observed at whole area of filter media by zone of inhibition test. The evaluation of microbe quantity was conducted through mixing dilution plate culture method. In comparison with ordinary filter, the amount of germs attached on antibacterial air filters was larger the amount of germs attached on ordinary filters was very small since ordinary filters contained less dust. In comparison in antibacterial air filter with thickness, the amount of germs attached on 9㎜ filter was smaller than that of on 6㎜ filter. i.e. thicker filter, superior efficiency.

Indoor air quality is an important determinant of human health and comfort. However, the complexity of pollution sources and the multitude of parties responsible for creating indoor exposures makes the improvement of air quality difficult. The HVAC(Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning) system is important facility to provide comfortable environment passenger service. The Ministry of Environment is established “Indoor Air Quality Management guidelines in Public Facilities” in December 2006. Hereupon, the train and the subway are included. In this research air quality in the Subway compartment has been measured. As a result, the concentrations of PM10 and CO₂ were reached to 93% and 61% of the regulation values, respectively. Thus, the indoor air qualities of subway have been proved that they satisfy the recommended guidelines by the Ministry of Environment.
