과학사를 이용한 진화 개념의 교수 학습 효과에 관한 연구

It is difficult for students to understand the correct concepts of biological evolution because of variety and firmness of their alternative concepts. It is even quite hard for teachers to teach the students some correct evolution concepts using traditional teaching-learning method. The aim of this research is to find out the new way of instruction to change the students' mixed-up ideas of evolution into Darwinian concepts. The developmental courses of evolution concepts based on science history were investigated and used for the teaching-learning of biological evolution. The effects of the traditional teaching-learning method and the teaching-learning method using science history in biological evolution were compared. Many students usually had Lamarckian or teleological ideas of evolution before they learned it. However the frequency of students having Lamarckian or teleological ideas was much more lower in the experimental group using science history than control group using traditional method. After learning the evolution concepts, the students of experimental group maintained the correct concepts of evolution more longer than those of control group. The experimental group also showed that the scores of school achievement on the biological evolution was higher than those of control group. The results of this research suggest that the teaching-learning method using science history helps the students to recognize the problems in their preconceptions and to establish correct scientific concepts.
단층이 토목구조물에 미치는 영향과 지반조사(사례 중심으로)

토목 구조물의 합리적인 설계를 위한 지반조사의 역할은 대상 구조물의 최적 위치를 설정하는 일에서부터 시공 방법의 선정이나 안정성을 확보하는 일에 이르기까지 필요한 각종 정보를 제공하는 것이다. 인간 생활 환경의 확대에 따라 불리한 지반 조건에 공사를 수행하여야 하는 경우가 점차 많아지고, 이에 따라 발생하는 문제에 있어서는 다양하고 복잡하여 이를 해결할 수 있기 위해서는 토목 시공뿐만 아니라 지반 자체에 대한 폭넓은 이해가 필요하게 되었다. 이에 본 고에서는 여러 가지 지질 구조 중 토목 구조물의 안정성에 가장 크게 영향을 미치는 단층과 관련된 여러 가지 사례를 소개하였으며 각 사례에 있어서 단층에 대한 대책을 분석, 요약하였다. The role of site investigation for adequate design of civil structure begins from siting to comment on design and providing other available geotechnical data. As the scope of human's life is wider than before, civil works have become conducted at sites of worse geological condition. So, it is necessary to have more adequate comprehension on the geological condition than ever in order to solve complicated geotechnical problems. In this paper, four fault related cases are introduced. Usually faults are the most influential geological structures on civil works. And the analyses with adequate countermeasures to each case are summarized.
