『형이상학』 12권과 『원인론』의 관계에 대한 토마스의 해석의 재구성

본 논문은 토마스 아퀴나스에게서 아리스토텔레스의 형이상학과 플라톤주의적인 형이상학이 구체적으로 어떻게 종합되는지 알아보고자 한다. 이를 위해 아리스토텔레스의 형이상학에 대한 토마스의 견해를 『형이상학 주해』에서, 플라톤주의의 형이상학에 대한 토마스의 견해를 『원인론 주해』에서 가져온다. 형이상학에 있어서 아리스토텔레스와 플라톤의 종합 내지 일치에 대한 토마스의 이론은 언급한 두 주석서에 나타난 토마스의 해석들의 종합으로 구성될 것이다. 토마스에게서 『형이상학』과 『원인론』이 결합된다는 것은 다름 아닌 『형이상학』 12권에 나타난 분리실체 이론이 『원인론』의 제일원인들에 대한 이론과 조화를 이루어야 한다는 뜻인데, 각각에서 분리실체로 제시된 대상들은 인식분석(resolutio)의 관점에서 서로 동일한 것으로 증명되어야 한다. 본 논문은 토마스의 해석에서 『형이상학』 12권 안에 『원인론』의 이론이 어떻게 담겨 있는지를 구체적으로 밝혀낼 것이다. This research aims to establish how Aristotelian metaphysics is combined with Platonic metaphysics in Thomas Aquinas. In this study I will take Thomas’ Commentary on Aristotle’s Metaphysics as a source in which we can read his thoughts about Aristotle’s metaphysics and bring his own opinion about Platonic metaphysics from his Commentary on the Liber de causis. Since he knew the histo-philological relation between that Arabic treatise and Proclus’s Elements of Theology, for him the Book of Causes shows truly the Platonic philosophy and consequently, his Commentary on that book is the very source, too, where we can read his view on Platonism. In this article, therefore, Thomas’ theory about unity of Aristotle and Platonism will consist of his interpretations shown in those two commentaries. That for Thomas the Book of Causes is combined with Aristotle’s Metaphysics means nothing other than that the doctrine of first causes of the Arabico-Platonic treatise is integrated into the theory of separated substance in book Lambda of Metaphysics. In this research I strive to show in detail how in Thomas’ interpretation the theory of Liber de causis could dwell in the theory of book Lambda.

신이 아닌 부동의 제일원동자에 관한 성찰: 토마스 아퀴나스의 입장

본 논문은 천체의 원동자에 관한 토마스 아퀴나스의 입장을 연구한다 중세의 우주론에서 자연계의 모든 운동들, 생성과 소멸과 같은 변화의 원인은 천체의 공전 운동으로 소급된다 천체의 운동의 원인이 무엇인지 물을 경우 논의는 물리학에서 형이상학으로 넘어가게 된다 전. 통적인 아리스토텔레스의 자연철학에서 천체의 원동자는 자기 스스로 사유하는 신으로 개념되었다 하지만 그리스도교 사상가들은 신과 물질세계 이외에 비물질적인 천사의 존재도 인정한다 고대의 그리스도교 사상가들은 천체의 운동을 천사에게 귀속시켰다 토마스는 권위있는 교부들의 입장과 아리스토텔레스의 자연철학 그리고 형이상학적 인과관계를 보편적으로 설명하는 『원인론』의 입장을 종합하여 천체의 원동자의 다양한 실체적 속성들을 연역해낸다 모든 운동의 원인은 자기운동, 즉 생명의 원리라는 뜻에서 영혼이어야 한다 그러나 천체의 영혼은 감각이 없는, 순수한 사유 활동의 현실로서 존재한다 천체의 영혼이 정신적 본성으로만 특징지어진다면 지성체, 즉 천사와 개념적으로 전혀 구별되지 않는다. 둘은 제일 원인과의 분여의 상대적 거리의 차이로서만, 즉 존재의 완전성의 , 차이로서만 구별된다 토마스는 천체의 영혼이 실질적으로는 그리스도교에서 고백하는 하급 천사와 같다고 인정하지만, 그렇다고 영혼이라는 용어의 사용을 완전히 배제해야 한다고 주장하지는 않는다. 토마스는 어쩌면 영혼을 천사에 일대 일 대응하는 순수 철학적 개념으로 보존하고 싶었는지도 모른다. This paper explores Thomas Aquinass perspective on the prime mover of celestial spheres. In Latin medieval cosmology, all movements in the natural world are reduced to the rotational motion of celestial bodies. In traditional Aristotelian natural philosophy, the prime mover of celestial bodies is regarded as God-substance that thinks itself. However, Christian theologians also acknowledge the existence of immaterial angels besides both God and the material world. Ancient Christian thinkers attributed the cause of movement of celestial bodies to angels. Thomas synthesizes the positions of theological authorities, Aristotelian natural philosophy, and the universal principles of causality outlined in the Arabic Book of Causes to deduce the various s substantial attributes of the prime mover of celestial bodies. The cause of all motions must be a self-moving principle, meaning it must possess a soul in the sense of the principle of life. However, the celestial soul exists as pure intellectual activity without sense-perception. If the soul of celestial bodies were characterized solely by its intellectual nature, it would not be distinguishable from another intellectual being, i.e. angels. They are distinguished only by the relative distance of participation in the First Cause, or in other words, by the difference in the grade of perfection of existence. Thomas acknowledges that the celestial soul is substantially similar to the lower angels confessed in Christianity but he doesnt argue for the complete exclusion of the term soul. Perhaps he wanted to preserve the concept of the soul as a purely philosophical concept corresponding with angels.

로봇산업이 지역인구이동 효과 및 임금수준에 미치는 영향: 패널데이터 능형회귀분석을 이용한 영향요인분석

우리나라 지방정부의 인구감소 및 인구 유출이 심화되는 현 시점에서, 지역경제 관점으로 인구이동을 다루는 것은 매우 의미가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 지역인구이동 관점에서 로봇산업의 지역 경제효과에 대한 연구를 진행하고자 한다. 이를 통해 지역에서 로봇산업 정책 수립에 기여하고, 지역의 로봇산업 발전을 위한 방향성을 제시하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 분석을 위하여, 2010년 ~ 2020년도 지역별 로봇기업의 현황데이터를 능형회귀분석을 통해 실증분석을 시도하였다. 분석 결과, 첫 번째 분석인 Pooled OLS와 VIF의 확인을 통해 다중공선성을 의심하였으며, 이를 통해 능형회귀분석 선택이 타당하다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 둘째로는 능형회귀분석을 위하여 종속변수별 최적의 k값을 추정하였으며, 이를 통해 능형회귀분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 로봇기업생산액은 임금에 긍정적인 영향을 주었으며, 로봇기업수는 순인구이동과 임금에 긍정적인 영향을 주었다. 마찬가지로 로봇기업인력수는 순인구이동과 임금에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 의의는 지역에서의 로봇산업의 효과를 인구이동과 임금이라는 관점에서 효과를 실증분석 하였다는 점이다. 기존 연구가 국가 로봇산업육성에 초점이 되었다면, 본 연구 결과 일자리 창출을 통한 인구이동과 창출된 일자리의 양질을 임금을 통해 측정함으로써 국가 정책 과정에서 기초자료로 활용할 수 있다는 점에서 본 연구의 의의가 있다. Investigations of population movements from the perspective of local economies are required when local populations are declining and population outflows worsen. This study was undertaken to investigate the regional economic effects of the robot industry from the perspective of population movements with the joint aims of contributing to formulating regional robot industry policies and suggesting directions for local robot industry development. Empirical analysis was conducted by applying ridge regression analysis to robot companies by region from 2010 to 2020. Multicollinearity was suspected through the confirmation of the first analysis, pooled OLS and VIF, which confirmed that the choice of ridge regression analysis was valid. The optimal k-value for each dependent variable was then estimated for ridge regression analysis. The results obtained showed that robot production positively affected wages and that the numbers of robot companies and company employees positively affected net population movement and wages. The significance of this study lies in the fact that it empirically analyzed the effects of the robot industry in a region from the perspective of population movements and wages. This study is meaningful because it provides basic data for policy-making and supports national robot industry development and the creation of quality jobs by measuring job quality based on wages and population movements.
