네일 칼라링에 관한 연구 - 아세톤 농도에 따른 네일 손상도를 중심으로

        박규미(Park Kyu-Mi) 한국인체미용예술학회 2003 한국인체미용예술학회지 Vol.4 No.2

This study was conducted to investigate the morphological change of nail, using the SPM(Scanning Probe Microscope), due to the concentration of acetone which is used frequently in nail-decoloring in the field of nail care and also due to the time of lapse after acetone-applying, and so to provide the fundamental data on study of nail care.
Number of total subjects were 36 womens who were all healthy. The group were devided into two sub-groups : one group of 35 women in the twenties and nail cared, the other group of women at the age for 18, 23, 27, 33, 37, 42, 48 each and not nail cared. Degree of damage on nail was determined to left hand nails of all women by SPM. The results of this study were as follow. 70 percent of aceton concentration was the lowest degree of damage on nail.
The degree of damage on nail at the time of decoloring was more higher in the case of the color with glitter than without glitter. The degree of damage on nail was increased by increasing exposure time of aceton.

        유물실측을 통한 여자저고리의 치수연구

박규미(Kyu Mi Park),유송옥(Song Ok Ryu) 한국복식학회 1997 服飾 Vol.32 No.-

Chogori, the basic upper garment of Korea costume occupies an important role in traditional dressing and continues to be in use to the present days. Of course, there has been changes in the length and line of Chogori with the flow of time, based on the Ancient Yoo. This is a study of the 14 parts of Chgori based on statistical analysis by computing the practical measurements. Here, the statistical analysis is a objective and quantitaive of the stylistic changes in Chogori with time. In this study, from the data, the Mean and Standard deviation has been evaluated and periodic change is shown by graph, to test the periodic change, T-test, Regressional analysis, Index analysis has been used. The results are as follows : 1. The length of clothing has changed with time except the sleeve length. Here, the length of clothing means all the other measurements except the sleeve, Thus, while the measurements of sleeve length has been uniquely unchanged, the other measurements have influenced each other. 2. Generally, the form of Chogori had the tendency towards smallness in the 19th century. But it tended to get larger in the 20th century. 3. Compared to other periods, the mode of 19th and 20th century Chogori was widely accepted, as the Standard deviation of that period was very narrow. 4. The results seen from the regressional analysis of the Cho-Sun period woman`s Chogori satisfy the t-value and R-squared and thus support the regression formula presumption. 5. From the index analysis, it is revealed that with decrease in the width of the dress length, there has been relatively slower decrease in the armhole measurement, sleeve measurement, and neckband : relatively same decrease in the wrist measurement : and very marked decrease in the sideline measurement.

연구논문 : 고대 이집트 제모문화에 관한 연구

전혜숙 ( Hea Sook Chun ),박규미 ( Kyu Mi Park ) 한국미용학회 2013 한국미용학회지 Vol.19 No.1

The purpose of this study was to investigate the hair removal culture of ancient Egypt. For the purpose, this researcher conducted a literature review, analyzed relevant illustrations, wall drawings, reliefs and figure sculptures accommodated in museums and investigated tools for hair removal. Findings of the study can be summarized as follows. Though in an arid climate with desert, Egypt has the Nile river that periodically overflows, making the country have its own unique culture quite different from other regions. Ancient Egyptians invented many different methods of skin care. Keeping in mind the notion of cleaning based on medical knowledge, they tended to remove hairs from the skins of the head, face and the entire body. In the ancient nation, priests removed their hairs as a sign of modesty and all people other than the priests wore wigs after removing their hairs. All ancient Egyptian men, except Pharaoh, removed their beards. According to their medical knowledge, ancient Egyptians removed their eyebrows to protect the eyes. They also made up their eyes with cosmetic goods that contained medical ingredients. In ancient Egypt, hair removal from the entire body was a custom common in all people including priests. At that time, the main material of hair removal was a mixture of wax, sugaring, lime powders and grass wastes. And knifes and tweezers, made of stone or bronze, were the main tools for hair removal. Meanwhile, it`s recommendable that a future profound research is conducted on the hygienic and physiological effects that the hair removal methods of ancient Egypt had.
