In this study, set values of PICV(Pressure Independent Control Valve) were simulated according to the pressure distribution and velocity. The higher the set value and the open rate, as the lower the pressure in the neck. On the contrary, the lower the set value and open rate, as the higher the pressure in the neck. When the set value was small, the pressure was distributed sufficiently and confirmed that the pressure was generated by the VOF, confirming that it could generate a vapor pressure. When the set value 100 %, the lower corn open rate of the differential pressure was 46 % to 29 %, set value 100 % was 29 % to 19 %, and set value 6 % was 12 % to 6 % for the lower corn open rate percentile, it was limited to within 50 %. Thus, the results of this study on the correlation between open rate and differential pressure of the set value of the PICV will be beneficial to improve performance of flow control valves and contribute to their efficient operation used for a hydronic system.
Pit를 이용한 건물 급기방식의 효용성 평가에 관한 사례 연구

In this study, the flow effect of warming and cooling in the air supply of a pit for air conditioning were evaluated in BS art museum. We simulated the flow temperature for a pit winter and summer seasons using computational fluid dynamics. Consequential, energy saving, energy saving costs and initial payback periods were calculated and the following conclusions were drawn. The warming effect of the winter increased by $18.1^{\circ}C$ and $0.2^{\circ}C/m$ and the cooling effect of the summer decreased by $6.1^{\circ}C$ and dropped to $0.07^{\circ}C/m$. Energy saving appeared to be 19.1 kW in the summer and 54.3 kW in winter. Energy saving costs ranged from 2,567,119 won/year to 5,134,238 won/year and at minimum, initial payback period for initial investment was 3.9 years. As a result, the air supply system using an existing pit without any burden on initial investment costs is believed to contribute to energy saving through warming and cooling of unutilized energy effects.
냉방부하 저감을 위한 스마트 스킨의 에너지 성능 평가에 관한 연구

The objective of this study was to evaluate and analyze energy performance using TRNSYS 18 for smart skin and typical windows. The results are as follows : The base model for smart skin types in Seoul area was 24% to 37.6%, and the demonstration model was 14.6% to 25.5%, which reduced energy as compared to the target. Also, the reference model in Gwangju was 26.6% to 41.3%, and the demonstration model was 16.0% to 27.4%, which also reduced energy as compared to the target. The base model in the Seoul area was 108.8% to -35.5% and the demonstration model was 105.5% to -25.2%. In addition, the base model in Gwangju was 106.7% to -40.9% and the demonstration model 103.3% to -27.4%, which increased and reduced energy compared to the target. A smart skin and typical type, base model and demonstration model, and energy requirements in Seoul and Gwangju were reduced as the overall u-value was lower. On the other hand, 0.76 (W/㎡․K) showed higher energy consumption than 1.07 (W/㎡․K). In conclusion, energy savings in work facilities are high when the thermal perfusion rate is 1.07 (W/㎡․K).

This study aims to find out how much energy can be saved when an exterior shading is installed on a building. The results were proved by comparing with the average values of solar radiation transmittance such as the annual solar radiation, the monthly solar radiation and seasonal solar radiation through the distribution images of solar radiation in building. The results showed that the building energy could be saved per unit area of building. For the numerical analysis, `Design Builder` was used as a computer simulation program. As a result, the optimal design for an exterior shading could be suggested to the louver with an angle of 30° and a width of 300mm. Based on these results, it was verified that the energy saving effect was above 3.75% by an exterior shading when this system was applied to Gwangju District Family Court that was the on of public office building.
CFD 모델을 이용한 열미로의 지중열원 활용에 관한 사례 연구

In order to evaluate the performance of ground heat source in thermal labyrinth on pre-heating in winter season and pre-cooling in summer season, the following are made as a conclusion through case study of H project by using the weather data from Korea meteorological administration and CFD model. By making outdoor air inlet via ground heat source in thermal labyrinth for conduction, convection and etc., the temperature rise is 13. 4℃ as the effect of pre-heating in winter season. On the other hand, as the effect of pre-cooling in summer season, the temperature decrease is 7.2℃. The energy saving rate by the application of ground heat source in thermal labyrinth is 9.1%.
