블리스터 시험법을 이용한 열증착 금박막의 기계적 성질 측정

Mechanical properties, including Young's modulus, residual stress and rupture strength, of a thermally evaporated gold film have been measured form a blister test. In a theoretical study, the priniple of minimum potential energy and that of virtual work have been applied to the pressurized circular membrane problem, and load-deflection relations have been derived for typical membrane deflection mode of spheroidal shape. In an experimental study, circular gold membranes of 4800 A-thickness and 3.5mm diameter were fabricated by the silicon electropolishing technique. Mecahnical properties of the thin gold films were deduced from the load-deflection curves obtained by the blister test, Young's moduli, obtianed from blister test, have been in the range of 45-70 GPa, while those of bulk gold have been in the range of 78-80 GPa. Residual stresses in the evaporated gold films have been measured as 28-110MPa in tension, The rupture strength of the gold film has turned out to be almost equal to that of dental gold alloy (310-380MPa). It has been demonstrated that the present specimen fabrication method and blister test apparatus have been effective for simultaneous measurement of Young's modulus, residual stress and repture strength of thin solid films. Especially, the electropolishing technique employed here has provided a simple and practical way to fabricate thin membranes in a circular or an arbitrary shape, which could not be obtained by the conventional anisotropic silicon mecromachining technique.
한국 성인의 혈청 잔류성 유기오염물질 농도와 연령 및 체질량지수와의 관련성

Objectives: Persistent organic pollutants (POPs) are known to be the detrimental chemicals in the body, even at low levels, and are stored in adipose tissue. Recently, POPs have been reported to be associated with chronic diseases, including cancer and cardiovascular disease, and aging and obesity are reported as common factors in chronic disease. However, there have been only a few studies on the associations of POPs with age and body mass index (BMI) in Korea. Therefore, we analyzed the associations of serum POPs levels with age and BMI in Korea. Methods: This cross-sectional study includes 444 subjects (253 men and 191 women) from the Korean Cancer Prevention Study-II (2004-2011). Serum levels of 33 polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and 19 organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) were measured by a gas chromatographer (Agilent 6890) coupled to high resolution mass spectrometer (JEOL JMS-800D). Results: Concentrations of PCB 153 (men: 12.26 ng/g lipid, women: 10.50 ng/g lipid) and p,p'-DDE (men: 94.66 ng/g lipid, women: 96.66 ng/g lipid) were the highest among serum PCBs and OCPs, respectively. PCBs and OCPs were significantly positively correlated with age in both sexes. After adjustment for age, non-dioxin like PCBs were significantly negatively correlated with body mass in women. However, cis-heptachlor epoxide was significantly positively correlated with body mass index in both sexes. When analyzed by sex, stronger associations were shown between POPs and age in men and POPs and BMI in women. Conclusion: These results may provide baseline data for the study of POPs and for the health management field in Korea.
자동차 차체재료용 Al-Mg-Si-Cr-Be-(Mn) 합금의 기계적 성질과 석출거동

Al-Mg-Si base alloys have a good strength, formability, corrosion resistance and bake hardenability. But the bake hardenability of Al-Mg-Si-Cr-Be alloy is better than that of Al-Mg-Si alloy. Mn is added to improve the toughness in Al-Mg-Si alloys. But the precipitation behavior of Al-Mg-Si based alloys with large amount of Mn addition($gt;0.5 wt%) has not been reported yet. Therefore, the mechanical property and precipitation behavior of the Al-Mg-Si-Cr-Be alloy with 0.5-1.5%Mn was observed using the hardness and tensile tests, differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) and transmission electron microscope(TEM). The tensile strength of Al-Mg-Si-Cr-Be alloy increased with the increase of Mn content without decrease of elongation due to the increase of Mn dispersoid. Therefore, the combination of properties such as strength and ductility in the Al-Mg-Si-Cr-Be-Mn alloy was better than that in the Al-Mg-Si-Cr-Be alloy. The formation energy of β$quot; phase of Al-Mg-Si-Cr-Be alloy is decreased by the addition of Mn. But The precipitation of β' phase of Al-Mg-Si-Cr-Be alloy is little affected by the addition of Mn.
