        생활하수 및 산업폐수 슬러지 처리에 따른 콩의 중금속 및 아미노산 함량

        본 연구는 생활하수 및 산업폐수 슬러지를 연차적으로 경작지에 처리한 후, 재배된 콩 식물체의 중금속 흡수 정도와 영양성분에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 처리량은 무처리, 11.25, 22.50 및 45.00 Mg/ha로 하였으며, 재배된 콩 식물체의 부위별 Cd, Pb, Ni, Cu 및 Zn 함량과 콩 종실의 수확량, 단백질 및 아미노산 함량을 조사하였다. 콩 종실 중의 Cd 함량은 0.02~0.05 mg/kg으로 기준치에 안전한 수준이었고, Pb 함량은 산업폐수 슬러지 45 Mg/ha를 제외하고 0.02~0.15 mg/kg으로 기준치에 적합하였다. 또한, 모든 중금속축적률은 잎 또는 뿌리보다 식용부위인 콩 종실에서 상대적으로 낮았고, 슬러지 처리량의 증가에도 함량 변화는 적어 식용으로서 안전함을 확인하였다. 종실의 수확량은 1년차에 슬러지 처리군이 무처리군보다 높았지만 2년차에는 생활하수 슬러지의 경우 낮은 수확량을 보였고, 산업폐수 슬러지의 경우 유사한 수준 또는 감소하는 경향이었다. 생활하수 슬러지 처리에 따른 아미노산 함량은 glutamate 경우에만 슬러지 처리군이 무처리군보다 증가하는 경향이었다. 하지만 연용에 따른 변화는 12종에서만 무처리군보다 증가하고 있었다. 산업폐수 슬러지는 1년차의 경우 15종이 무처리군에서 가장 높았고, 2년차에서는 11.25 Mg/ha에서 17종 모두가 가장 높은 결과를 나타내었다. 결론적으로 콩 종실 중 중금속 축적량은 문제가 되지 않았으나 수량이 감소되는 점을 감안할 때 가장 적합한 슬러지 처리 수준은 11.25 Mg/ha임을 확인하였다. This study investigates the effects of accumulated levels of heavy metals and nutrients of cultivated soybean plant tissues, after the continuous application of sewage sludge (SS) and industrial sludge (IS). SS and IS were applied to soybean plants at loading of 0, 11.25, 22.50, and 45.00 Mg/ha, and the contents of heavy metals (Cd, Pb, Ni, Cu, and Zn), proteins, and amino acids in the cultivated soybean plants were measured. The Cd content in the soybean was 0.02~0.05 mg/kg, which is within the safety level set in the standard, and that of Pb was 0.02~0.15 mg/kg, which is also within the safety level except for IS 45 Mg/ha. The soybean harvest quantity was higher in the treatment groups than the control group in the first year. However, in the second year, SS had lower harvest and IS had the same level or a decreasing tendency, compared with the control group. In the first year, the content of amino acid which followed handling of SS was increased in the sludge groups more than in the control group in the case of glutamate. However, the influence of continuous application was increased in the sludge groups in the case of amino acids of 12 types. In conclusions, the accumulation in soybean of heavy metals by sludge treatment is not a problem, but the decreased yields needs to be considered. In addition, the most appropriate level of sludge treatment was 11.25 Mg/ha.

        카드뮴과 비소처리가 상추의 polyamine 함량 및 유효도에 미치는 영향

        Absorption of Cadmium(Cd) and Arsenic(As) by lettuce following to the change of polyamine content in lettuce were examined to find the effect of these elements on lettuce growth and on the basic resistance mechanism. As the contents of Cd and As were increased in soil, the contents of these elements were significantly increased in lettuce but lettuce growth was decreased. Sequential fractionation experiment of the Cd and As treated sail was shown that exchangeable, dilute acid extractable, and organically bound form, which were more mobile and phyto-available, of Cd were increased by 5.6, 42.9, and 56.7% during a growing season whereas 17.6, 25.4, and 24.1% were increased in case of As, respectively. Specially, the Cd content of leaves and roots in lettuce was positively correlated with exchangeable, dilute acid extractable, and residual form of Cd in the treated soil. However, the As content of roots in lettuce was positively correlated with all chemical forms of As in the treated soil. The contents of putrescine and cadaverine, a kind of polyamine, were also increased in lettuce as both elements were increased in soil.

        제련소 인근 논 토양중 중금속 형태 분류 및 수도체중 중금속 함량과의 상관성

        The contents of heavy metals in soil near the Janghang smelter area were observed to understand present status and relationship between their fraction and the absorption by rice. The soil samples were taken from the eight sites of the paddy fields in 1982 and 1990, and analysis on heavy metals including Cd, Zn, Cu and Pb was performed. The results were as follows: Total contents of heavy metals in the samples of 1990 were higher than those of 1982. The order of increasing ratio was Cu > Zn > Pb > Cd and the variation of Cd content by sequential differente extracting was residual > exchangeable > dilute acid-extractable fractions and its increasing range was from 38 to 71% during nine years. The ratio of immobile heavy metals bound within an oxide or silicate matrix of Fe-Mn oxide bound and residual in surface soil was that Cd, Pb, Cu and Zn were 31.65, 42.22, 76.57 and 79.49%, respectively, and their mobile ratios of exchangeable, dilute acid-extractable and organically bound were more than 20.28%. Those of mobile Cd, Pb, Cu and Zn were 68.35, 55.78, 23.43 and 20.28%, respectively. Correlation between the heavy metal contents in surface soil and those in tissue of rice plant, such as leaf blade, leaf sheath, stem and panicle axis, were significant, but were not significant in subsurface soil. The dilute acid-extractable and organically bound fractions of Cd, Cu, Pb and Zn in surface soil were more significantly correlated with those in tissues of paddy rice.

        익산 제 1 공단 토양의 중금속 함량 분포 조사

        The purpose of this study was to compare heavy metal concentrations in uncontaminated soil with those in soil influenced by industrial activities, and to investigate the relationship between change of heavy metal content and the kind of industry at the Iksan 1st Industrial Complex that has started since 1975. Soils sampled in 0-3㎝ and 3-6㎝ soil depth, respectively were analized for content of Cd, Cu, Ni, Pb and Zn. Change of heavy metal content in soil of the industrial complex were more accumulated 16 to 25% of Cd and Cu, 93% of Pb and Zn, respectively in samples compared with natural soil uncontaminated. But there was no different in Ni content between two soil. Distribution of Cd in soil layer of 0 to 3㎝ was the highest concentration of 5 ppm more at the textile industries, and then higher at the chemicals and the food processing industries. In 3 to 6㎝ soil layer Cd content was the highest concentration of 5 ppm more at the metal processing industries, and then higher at the textile industries. Cd accumulation in soil was different according to a kind of industry and soil depth. Cu content was the highest value of 400 ppm more in soil layer of 0 to 3㎝ at the manufacturing electric wires industry area and showed the accumulation phenomenon in soil layer 3 to 6㎝ at the ohmmeter, machines and electric wires industry area. Ni content was 35 ppm more in soil of the metal plating and processing industries regardless of soil sampling layer. Then it was 25 ppm more in soil of the building stones and semiconductor industries. Pb content was from 400 to 1000 ppm in soil of the chemicals and textiles industries regardless of soil sampling layer. Zn content was 1200 ppm more in soil of the chemicals and silk fabrics industries regardless of soil depth, and then lower in order to soil of leather processing$lt;metal processing≤metal plating industries. In conclusion, changes of heavy metal kinds and content in soil of this industrial complex area were caused by the type or kinds of industrial activities. Changes of Pb and Zn content in soil were dominated at this area.

        만경강 유역 논 토양중 중금속 형태분류와 수도체의 흡수량과의 관계

        In order to elucidate the relationship between the mobility of heavy metals in soil and their uptake by plants, the soil samples collected from the Mangyeong River area were analyzed for the contents and existing forms of the heavy metals and the correlation between the contents of heavy metals in the soil and those in various parts of rice plants therefrom. The soil samples were collectes from ten sites in the paddy fields in 1982 and 1990, respectively, and the analysis on heavy metals including Cd, Zn, Cu and Pb was performed. The results are as follows: Total contents of heavy metals in the samples of 1990 were higher than those of 1982. The extent of increase was that Cd, Zn, Cu and Pb were 3, 29, 59 and 8% in top soil and 8, 50, 91 and 8% in sub-soil, respectively. The order of increasing ratio was Cu > Zn > Pb > Cd and the variation of Cd content by sequentially different extraction was organically bound > dilute acid-extractable=Fe-Mn oxide bound > exchangeable > residual fractions and the content of Cd with organically bound was 46.62∼48.08 and 41.18∼50.18% of total Cd in top and sub-soil, respectively. The ratios of immobile heavy metals, Cd, Pb, Cu and Zn, bound within an oxide or silicate matrix of Fe-Mn oxide in top-soil were 21.25, 35.98, 74.18 and 82.12%, respectively, and consequently their mobile ratios of exchangeable, dilute acid-extractable and organically bound were more than 17.88%. Those of mobile Cd, Pb, Cu and Zn were 78.25, 64.02, 25.82 and 17.88%, respectively. Except for Pb a correlation between the contents of Cd, Zn, and Cu of exchangeable and dilute acid-extractable in topsoil and those in leaf blade, stem and panicle axis was significant, but was not significant in sub-soil.

        장항제련소 지역의 논토양과 수도체중 Cu 함량의 변화에 관한 연구

        To investigate differences in Cu contents in paddy soils and rices, being affected by air pollutants from the Janghang Smelter, soil samples at the different directions and surface (0-15㎝) and subsurface (15-30㎝) were collected in 1982 and 1990, and rice plants at the soil corresponding sampling sites in 1990 were also at separately collected from the Janghang Smelter area. Soil samples were extracted with 4M-HNO₃and plant samples were digested with a mixture of HNO₃and HClO₃for analyzing Cu, Zn, Cd and Pb by atomic absorption spectrophotometry. The Cu contents in soils ranged from 5.1 to 391.0 ㎎ ㎏^(-1). The average content of Cu in 1990 was higher than that in 1982. The Cu content in soils nearer to the center of the smelter was higher than that farther from the center. The Cu content was highest at the east direction, and was in order of east > north-north east = north east > north. The variation of Cu levels in soil at east sites was more considerable than other directions. The Cu level in surface soils was higher than that in subsurface soils. The Cu contaminated area was within 5 ㎞ at east, and 3 ㎞ at north-north east and north east. A significant correlation was found between Cu content in surface soils of 1982 and that in surface and subsurface soils of 1990, and between Cu content in soils and soil properties such as organic matter(OM), available phosphate, available silicate, exchangeable Ca^(++) and Na^(+) in 1982. The Cu content in brown rice ranged from 0.4 to 3.6 ㎎ ㎏^(-1), and was the lowest in parts of rice plant, and Cu content in a part of plant was 13.75 times higher than that in brown rice. The Cu content of leaf sheath, stem and brown rice was correlated with the levels of Cd, Zn, Cu and Pb in soils. The Cu content in soil regardless of years and soil depths was correlated with Zn and Pb in soil in the area affected by waste gas.

        아로니아 및 모링가 종자 복합물의 항아토피 상승효과

        본 연구는 DNCB로 유도한 아토피 피부염 유사 병변 실험동물 모델을 활용한 in vivo와 피부 각질세포주를 이용한 in vitro 연구를 통하여 아로니아와 모링가 종자 추출물의 아토피 피부염 개선 효능을 분석하였다. 조직학적 검사 결과 아로니아 추출물(AM) 또는 모링가 종자 추출물(MO) 단독 투여 시보다 1:1로 혼합한 복합물(AM-MO)을 투여했을 때 표피 부분의 과증식과 염증세포의 침윤이 감소하였으며, 염증 및 부종을 나타내는 피부 두께를 측정한 결과에서도 추출물 단독으로 투여하였을 때보다 AM-MO 투여 시 DNCB 도포군과 비교하여 유의하게 감소함을 보여주었다. 피부장벽 손상으로 인한 수분 손실에 대해서는 유의한 효과를 나타내지 않았으며, 혈청 IgE 수준은 AM과 MO 각각 단독으로 투여했을 때보다 혼합 투여하였을 때 현저하게 억제되었다. In vitro에서는 피부각질세포주인 HaCaT 세포를 TNF-α 및 IFN-γ로 자극하면 발현이 증가하는 Th2 케모카인 TARC 및 MDC에 대하여 mRNA 수준을 분석하였을 때, 이 역시 단독 추출물 처리 시보다 복합물 처리 시 억제 효과가 더 뛰어남을 확인하였다. 종합적으로 DNCB로 유도된 아토피 피부염 in vivo 모델에서 아로니아 및 모링가 종자 추출물은 단독으로 투여하는 것보다 복합물로 투여하였을 때 현저하게 피부 염증 및 혈청 내 IgE 생성을 억제하였으며, 피부각질 세포주를 이용한 in vitro 연구에서도 추출물 단독 처리보다 혼합하여 처리하였을 때 더 유의한 Th2 케모카인 억제 활성을 나타내었다. 이로 인해 아로니아 및 모링가 종자 추출물은 복합적으로 사용하였을 때 상호작용에 의해서 더 효과적인 아토피 피부염 개선 식품 소재로써 활용될 가능성이 높을 것으로 생각된다. Atopic dermatitis is a chronic, relapsing inflammatory skin disease. This study aimed to investigate the therapeutic benefits of Aronia melanocarpa (AM) and Moringa oleifera seed extract (MO) on experimental atopic dermatitis. We examined the effects of AM or MO and their combination on 2,4-dinitrochlorobenzene (DNCB)-induced atopic dermatitis in BALB/c mice as well as tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α and interferon (IFN)-γ-stimulated HaCaT keratinocytes. Mice were orally treated with extract during repeated application of DNCB to shaved dorsal skin. Our results show that treatment with AM and MO in combination reduced histological manifestations such as epidermal hyperplasia and inflammatory cell infiltration. Furthermore, it significantly decreased skin thickness and serum immunoglobulin E (IgE) level compared to the AM or MO alone treated group. Combined extract of AM and MO suppressed expression of TNF-α/IFN-γ-induced T helper 2 (Th2) chemokines such as thymus and activation-regulated chemokine and macrophage-derived chemokine. To sum up, combination of AM and MO suppressed the inflammatory response and serum IgE as an indicator of several allergic diseases in DNCB-induced experimental atopic dermatitis and Th2 chemokine expression in HaCaT cells. This result suggests that combination of AM and MO could be a valuable strategy to improve atopic dermatitis.

        만경강 유역의 토양과 수도체중 Cd 및 Zn 함량의 변화

        To investigate differences in Cd and Zn contents of paddy soils and rice plants polluted by the municipal and industrial waste water in the Mangyeong River Area, soil and plant samples were collected at several distances from the main inlet and at different depths of the soil. Soil samples were extracted with 4M-HNO₃ and plant samples were digested with a mixture of HNO₃and HClO₄for analyzing heavy metals by atomic absorption spectrophotometry. The contents of Cd and Zn in soils ranged from 0.38 to 1.17 and from 33.8 to 464.6㎎ ㎏^(-1), respectively. The average Cd level in 1990 was less than that in 1982, but the Zn level in 1990 was higher than that in 1982 in general. No variation in Cd contents was observed in soils at the different distances from the source of waste water, but Zn contents in soils were lower with the increasing distances from the source of waste water. A significant correlation was observed among Cd content, OM, available silicate, CEC and Ca^(++). Similar results existed among Zn content of 1982, OM and Ca^(++). The Cd content in subsurface soils of 1992 was significantly correlated with Zn, Cu, and Pb in soils, and the Zn content in soils was significantly correlated with the Cu and Pb in soils, regardless of years. The Cd content in leaf blades of rice was more than seven times higher than that in brown rice. The Zn content in rice was higher than that in leaf blades and in panicle axis. The Cd content in panicle axis and the Zn content in all parts of rice were correlated with Zn, Cu and Pb contents in soils. The Cd and Zn contents in brown rice ranged from 0.10 to 0.90㎎ ㎏^(-1) and from 4.2 to 95.9㎎ ㎏^(-1) in the Mangyeong River Area, respectively.
