We report a case of a photoallergic reaction induced by hydrochlorthiazide ingestion in 56-year-old male. the patient had an erythematous pruritic eruptions on the face, neck, and dorsum of the hands. After phototesting, there was a decrease in the minimal erythemal dose(UVA:5J/㎠). A photopatch test with 5% hydrochlorthiazide ointment was positive. A rapid improvement of the lesions occured after the cessation of hydrochlorthiazide adminitration.

Erythromelalgia is a rare disorder characterized by intense hun ing pain in the distal extremities associated with erythema and increased skin temperature. The patient was a 42- year-old woman with a 5 year history of burning pain, erythema, and warmth of the skin on both hands and feet. She had been suffering from bronchiali astalima since childhood. The onset of the symptoms were temporally related to the attacks of hei bronchial asthma. Physical examination revealed mottled dusky red patches on her both ha ids and feet, and purplish acrocyanosis on the finger and toe tips. We present a case of secondary erythromelalgia associated with bronchial asthma and acrocyanosis. (Kor J Dermatol 1992;30(4):519-523)

The thermal analysis of electronic equipment is required to predict the reliability of electronic equipment being loaded on a satellite. The transient heat transfer of electronic equipment that was developed recently has been generated using a large-scale integration circuit. If there is a transient heat transfer between EEE(Electric, Electronic and Electro mechanical) parts, it may lead to failure the satellite mission. In this study, we performed the thermal design and analysis for reliability of APD(Antenna Pointing Driver) electronics for activation of a spaceborne X-band 2-axis antenna. The EEE parts were designed using a thermal mathematical model without the thermal mitigation element. In addition, thermal analysis was performed based on the worst case for verifying the reliability of EEE parts. For the thermal analysis results, the thermal stability of electronic equipment has been demonstrated by satisfying the de-rating junction temperature.
