        NIE를 활용한 경제교육의 효과 : 고등학교 1학년 경제단원을 중심으로

        최근 우리나라의 경제상황은 급속하게 변화하고 있다. 그러나 실제 교육현장에서 활용되고 있는 경제 교과서를 중심으로 한 교재는 초보적이고 원론적인 경제이론을 다루고 있어 이러한 변화를 모두 반영할 수 없는 것이 사실이다. 신문은 매일 새롭고 다양한 경제정보를 제공해주므로 경제교육에 있어서의 이러한 문제를 극복할 수 있는 가장 이상적인 교재라 할 수 있으며, NIE(신문활용교육)가 올바르게 이루어진다면 바람직한 경제교육으로 접근이 가능할 것이다. NIE는 1990년대 중반 우리나라에 소개되어 국어, 과학, 수학 등 여러 교과활동에 활용되고 있으나 아직 중고등학교 경제교육에서의 활용 및 연구가 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 학교경제교육에 신문을 활용하는 방안을 제시하고 NIE가 경제교육에 미치는 효과에 대해 모색해 볼 필요가 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 고등학교 경제수업에 적용할 수 있는 다양한 NIE 활용법을 제시하고, 경제교육에서의 NIE의 활용이 학업성취도 및 학습태도에 미치는 효과를 검증하고자 한다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 첫째, 경제교육과 NIE에 관련된 선행연구를 살펴보고, 경제교육과 NIE의 개념, 목표, 필요성 등 이론적 배경을 고찰하였다. 둘째, 경험적 연구를 위해 제7차 교육과정에서의 10학년인 고등학교 1학년 <사회>교과 중 'Ⅷ. 국민 경제와 합리적 선택' 단원을 중심으로 NIE 교수학습 모형을 적용하여 경제수업을 실시하였다. 학습목표 및 NIE 활동 프로그램과 관련된 신문자료를 수집하여 학생들이 활동할 학습지를 제작하였으며 이를 바탕으로 수업지도안을 구안하였다. 셋째, 경제 교육에 있어서 NIE의 효과를 검증하기 위하여 학업성취도 검사 및 학습태도 검사를 실시하였다. 검사 결과의 분석을 위해 SPSS 10.0 프로그램의 t 검정을 사용하였으며 95%의 신뢰수준에서 검정하였다. 연구 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 경제단원에 대한 학업성취도 검사 결과 NIE를 활용하여 경제 수업을 받은 집단이 전통적 수업을 적용한 집단보다 경제 관련 지식, 기능, 가치·태도 영역에서 평균이 높게 나타났으며 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 경제수업에 대한 학습태도 검사 결과 NIE 수업을 적용한 집단이 전통적 수업을 적용한 집단보다 학습에 대한 일반적 태도, 경제수업에 대한 주의집중 태도, 학습 기술적용 태도, 자율학습 태도 등의 영역에서 평균이 높게 나타났으며 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 따라서 경제교육시 기존의 교과서 위주의 수업에서 과감히 탈피하여 현실을 반영하는 신문을 활용한 수업이 활성화되어야 한다. 이를 위해서는 경제교육에 활용할 수 있는 NIE 수업 자료의 연구 및 정보 교류를 위한 제도적 여건 마련, NIE에 대한 교육당국과 신문사의 지속적인 관심과 협조가 요구된다. Korean economy has experienced drastic changes in recent years. Still, economics textbooks used in schools fail to consider all these changes, by focusing only on elementary and fundamental economic theories. Newspapers can be used as one of the most useful textbooks, which can help to solve these problems of our current economic education, as they offer new and diverse economic information on a daily basis. N.I.E. (Newspaper in Education) can be a desirable approach to the effective economic education if it is used properly. N.IE. was first introduced in Korea in mid 1990s and has been applied to a variety of curriculum including Korean language, science and mathematics, but it has not been widely utilized in teaching economics in high school and there has not been sufficient research on the approach Against the backdrop, it is necessary to explore the methods to utilize newspapers in teaching economics in high school and analyze the effects that N.I.E. has on economic education as a whole. This study aims to suggest various N.I.E. methods that can be used in high school and to examine the effects that N.I.E.-based economic education has on academic performance and learning attitude of students. First, an extensive review has been done on much research and studies on economic education and N,I.E., and the theoretical background including the concept, objectives and necessity of N.I.E. has been examined. Second, for empirical research, an economics class using newspapers was conducted on the basic macro and micro economics - 'National Economy and Rational Choices'. Students created a text material based on which they will carry out activities, by gathering news and information from papers relating to the class objectives. Third, in order to verify the effects of NIE on economic education, students were evaluated for their academic performance and learning attitude. This paper analyzes the test results, using the t verification of SPSS 10.0 with a 95% confidence level. The findings are as follows. First, the results of the academic performance test on the relevant economy lectures, the N.I.E.-applied group achieved a higher average on economy-related knowledge, functions, values and attitude, than their counterparts in the group who were taught in a conventional way. The difference in the scores was statistically significant. Second, the learning attitude test has shown similar results. The N.I.E. group gained higher scores than their peers in all areas including general learning attitude, concentration level, learning skills application and voluntary learning. And the difference was statistically significant, too. Therefore, it is suggested that for economic education, schools should encourage teachers to decrease their dependency on textbooks and adopt the N.I.E. teaching method. In order to make it possible, the current education system needs to be changed to allow much research for developing newspaper texts and to facilitate information exchange to develop N.I.E. teaching materials.

        This study of counter-culture, the cultural background of the Jean Fashion which expresses the consciousness and youthfulness of young shows the various social, cultural developments and the direction of growth for the Jean industry. Until now, the fashion trend flowed from the elite. upper-class minority to the general public, however, in the case of the Jean Fashion, it has spread inversely to the upper-class from the young people who have adopted the life-styles of the lower, middle-class, working people. With the emphasis on Jean Fashion's establishment throughout and within a counter-culture influences, the first chapter explores the counter-culture's background theory and how fashion has metamorphisized in the counter-culture. 7 The second chapter explores the image of the jeans in the society of the youth and the general public. Finally in the third chapter, this study divides the images of Jean Fashion in the youth and the general population into classifications of Feminism, and Erotism and Disantlementation. Thus I came to the conclusion that the above stated theories have had great influence on the Jean Fashion industry. The appearance and feeling of the Blue Jeans became one of the favorite clothings of the modern people.

      • 전문대학 의상디자인과의 교육과정 개선 방안에 관한 연구

        If curriculum for the dept of fashion design in college alters existing academical studies into ambient studies, the desirable fashion design studies in Korean universities is expected to be established. The colleges aim the theory which can be worked practically in industrial field and the vocational education combining actual affairs for the cultivation and the provision for the main skilled technical hands. Because the fashion industry is the study which has the strong effect on time changes, the college authorities have to change the curriculum depending on the flow of time. The improvement method is getting major courses or pursuiting university's peculiarity and managing the practical course which is identical as present manufacturing system so that the ability of adaptation in presence may be raised. Accepting the internship system which is one of educational-industrial complex and mutual interchange between major realm and the connection of course mutuality have to be strengthened. Withdrawing the education focused on the academy in the present education is needed to the academic world. Constructing the professional nurturing of manpower going together with fashion industry's time change which the school education can cope is an important project.

      • Madeleine Vionnet의 생애와 그의 작품에 대한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to research the life and works of Madeleine Vionnet. Vionnet was born on June 22, 1876, across the Swiss border from Lake Geneva. She started to work at the bottom of her profession and she worked in couture houses in both London and Paris, then served as assistant to Mme. Germier at Carlot Soeurs, where it was her job to reproduce the toilers. By 1912 Vionnet opened her own house, where she produced dress that were masterpieces of construction. Vionnet closed her doors in 1939, she would never reopen them, although until her death in 1975 at the age of 99, she continued to monitor and comment upon the haute couture, whose artisty she had done so much to upgrade. According to analysis of the Vionnet's works, we found that she absorbed cubistic influence with simplicity and geometrical pattern. Also her great contribution was the bias cut. she made other innovation, many of them developed from the Principal of the bias cut, such as the asymmetrical neckline, the halter neckline, the cowl neckline, and the skirt with handkerchief points. And also, she produced the series of bas-relief, and then these was famous for floating effect.
