This paper presents the characteristics of the performance and the emissions of indirect diesel engine by using the dual fuel, which is composed of the methanol and the diesel. To do this, fumigation and mixing injection method were applied respectively, and compared with each other. In additions, the intake air temperature were varied from the ambient temperature to 50 "C in order to investigate the effects of the higher latent heat of methanol. In fumigation, the<br/> air assisted injection assembly are used to accelerate the atomization of methanol. As a results, the load are the main factor to limit the mixing ratio, so fumigation is better than the mixing injection, because of controlling the mixing ration in proportional to the load.<br/>

In this paper, the design data of an aircraft generator have been reviewed to evaluate the compliance with the airworthiness standards, and the technical procedure to ensure safety and reliability of an alternate-current generator by the tests and computations have been developed.
