N/A Bufonis Venenum is a toad venom and its main components are bufadienolides, namely resibufogenin, bufalin and cinobufagin. The desensitizing effect of Bufonis Venenum is useful for the treatment of the premature ejaculation in Chinese medicine. But, minor components of Bufonis Venenum cause problems such as topical burning, pain, and erectile dysfunction. To clarify and eliminate the components responsible for these side effects, we prepared two extracts of Bufonis Venenum with either 70% ethanol or ethylacetate and tested their pharmacological effects. The extract of Bufonis Venenum with 70% ethanol produced pain response in rat hind paw, and exhibited contraction of rabbit corpus cavernosal muscle in vitro. On the other hand, the ethylacetate extract did not cause pain and smooth muscle contraction. The desensitizing effect of the ethylacetate extract was similar to that of the 70% ethanol extract. In conclusion, these results show that the extract of Bufonis Venenum with ethylacetate does not have the components causing side effects and deserve further study for therapeutic potential in premature ejaculation in men.
MR 유체를 적용한 Multi-Plate Clutch의 최적설계

오늘날 자동차 산업의 기술 발전으로 4륜구동 기술이 승용차에도 적용되고 있으며, 이를 위해 트랜스퍼 케이스용 건식 다판클러치가 사용되고 있다. 하지만 건식 클러치의 경우 진동에 대한 문제가 발생하여 승차감에 영향을 주게 된다. 이를 해결하기 위해 4륜 구동장치의 핵심부품인 트랜스퍼케이스에 있는 다판클러치의 체결시 발생하는 충격을 저감시키고자 MR유체가 적용된 다판클러치를 제안한다. MR 다판클러치는 유체커플링 모드와 압착모드를 가지게 되며, 최적 설계를 위해 토크모델을 유도하였다. 다판클러치의 설계변수를 최적화를 위해 Ansys Maxwell을 이용하여 해석을 수행하였고, 전자기장 해석은 디스크와 플레이트의 수를 변경하였을 때 자기장의 세기를 확인하였으며, 자기장의 세기는 최대 0.45 Tesla가 도출되었다. 이를 토크방정식에 적용하여 플레이트 사이 간격을 2mm로 플레이트의 내경과 외경을 각각 45mm와 55mm로 선정하였다. 이와 같이 본 논문에서는 MR 다판클러치의 성능을 극대화할 수 있는 최적 설계기법을 제안하였다. 4WD technology is being actively applied to passenger cars. Therefore, dry multi-plate clutches are used for transfer cases. On the other hand, dry clutches have problems related to large vibrations and poor ride quality. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a multi-plate clutch with an MR fluid. When fastening the multi-plate clutch in the transfer case, the proposed MR clutch was applied to reduce the shock and friction, which is a key component in a four-wheel-drive system. MR multi-plate clutch has a fluid coupling mode and a compression mode. A torque model equation was derived for the optimal design. The analysis was performed using Ansys Maxwell to optimize the design parameters of the multi-plate clutch. Electromagnetic field analysis confirmed the strength of the magnetic field when the number of disks and plates were changed, and the maximum strength of the magnetic field was 0.45 Tesla. By applying this to the torque equation, the spacing between the plates was 2 mm, and the inner and outer diameters of the plates were selected to be 45 mm and 55 mm, respectively. Overall, this paper proposes an optimal design technique to maximize the performance of an MR multi-plate clutch.

Worldwide problem, due to the depletion of energy to power more efficient use of the same capacity to improvise for the use of LED brightness is growing. Recent advances in LED technology have lead to LEDs' widespread use in outdoor-signal applications, such as in traffic and railroad signals. Likewise, for large system design and production of issues leading to the simulation should be performed with less effort than to create a system that is reliable. In this paper a wide field of use to more accurately simulate a LED, and easy to use PSPICE can be used as general-purpose use of the LED device modeling. According to a particular LED, the device easy to use basic input variables to the values of library. In order to determine the behavior of the library to provide basic diode device, compared with PSPICE simulations confirm the accuracy of the simulation was performed.
