The high penetration level of the generated photovoltaic (PV) power generation in low voltage (LV) networks induces the issue of voltage rise, particularly at the end of the feeders. Several solutions such as grid reinforcement, transformer tap change, demand-side management, active power curtailment, and the use of reactive power control methods have been proposed to address this issue. However, the practicability of these solutions is limited owing to high costs, low efficiencies and the conflicts of interest between network operator and the owners of solar farms. This paper proposed the use of a reactive power compensator (RPC) to mitigate the dual issues of voltage rise and voltage drop. The voltage rise is caused by the distributed generation systems while the voltage drop is caused by the heavy loads at the end of the feeder of the weak LV distribution networks. The RPC was utilized to inject the lagging or leading reactive current during the voltage drop or voltage rise condition. The proposed RPC was developed as a part of the Kepco Open R&D project. The aim of this project is to investigate the techniques to mitigate the issues for the voltage rise and drop in the distribution networks, without either changing the service transformer tap or installing an additional distribution line and service transformer. The performance of the proposed RPC was verified via simulation and experiments.
전류게인 전향보상기법을 이용한 부스트 컨버터의 불연속전도 모드 전류제어

In this paper a new current control method is proposed for the discontinuous conduction mode of boost converter. The proposed method using a current gain feedforward compensation adjusts a measured inductor current value and then, calculated an average current precisely in the discontinuous conduction mode as well as continuous conduction mode. By applying the proposed method, the current measurement error is significantly reduced to 2% regardless of the operating points. The proposed method is analyzed and its performance is investigated in simulation. To verify the feasibility of the proposed scheme, a 10kW 3-phase interleaved boost converter was built and experimental results are matched to the simulation results.

웹서비스는 표준 프로토콜인 HTTP를 이용하기 때문에 방화벽의 제약이 없어서 어디서나 실시간으로 통신하여야 하는 모니터링 시스템 특성상 꼭 필요한 기술이다. 또한, XML로 기술된 SOAP 메시지는 플랫폼 독립적이고, 시스템 확장과 통합에 유리하다. 본 논문에서 구현한 웹모니터링 시스템은 웹서비스를 이용하여 설치가 용이하고, 인터넷을 통해 원격지의 태양광 발전 시스템을 관리, 감시하는데 제약이 없으며, 신재생에너지 산업 통합에 적용될 수 있다.

Interleaved Dual Boost(IDB) converter can reduce current ripple, switching loss and harmonics without filter in input power line. Moreover, this improve power factor.<br/> In this paper, we will use the state average methode and small signal analysis at the Interleaved dual boost converter.<br/> 4-type controllers were designed by using control transfer function. The result of these controller simulations is analyzed and proposed a proper controller at IDB.
