한국은 전통적으로 매우 보수적인 나라이다. 불교와 유교의 영향은 한국인의 생활속에 깊이 잠재하고 있으며, 특히 유교는 가족관계에 많은 영향을 미치고 있다. 유교는 하나의 생활철학, 가치관, 그리고 관습적인 면에서 가족관계에 중심을 이루고 있다해도 과언이 아닐 것이다. 한국 가족의 구조적, 기능적인 특성을 살펴보면, 한국 가족은 부계혈족을 중요시하는 직계 가족임을 알 수 있다. 따라서 가족을 이루는 중심은 부부가 아니라 부자 중심이며, 가족관계 또한 부부관계 보다는 자녀 부모 자녀관계 특히 부자관계를 중요시하는 가족특성을 지니고 있다. 본 연구에서는 한국 가족관계에서 "효"를 중심으로 한 부모, 자녀관계, 조부모와 부모의 관계, 조부모와 손자녀의 관계를 요약하였다.

Seven cases of malignant melanomas were reported, and the histologic features were described.The age of patients ranged from 16 to 85, five of which were above 51. The durations of observation before the biopsy were 5 months to 16 years. All started as pigmented patch or dark nodule, but the one on a girl developed from a hairy nevus which had been present since her birth. The primary lesions revealed on the face, on the upper arm, on the finger, on the labia majora and on the sole. Two of the biopsies had been taken from metastatic lesions. All cell types considered of melanomas had been seen but not in all lesions. All lesions were more or less pigmented. The follow-up study, was not completed for the patients. All we knew for the moment was that 6 patients died of metastasis of melanoma, and one had generalized metastasis with liver involvement.

The influences of ammonium chloride induced-Acidosis and sodium bicarbonate with sodium citrate induced-Alkalosis upon the salivary gland, thymus, heart, liver, kidney and adrenal glands of rats were histopathologically studied and the results obtained were as follows: 1. The thymus in the acidosis group is infiltrated by a few eosinophils and neutrophil leucocytes, and a few eosinophils and round cells are seen in the alkalosis group. 2. The myocardium of the rats is revealed more degenerative changes and necrosis in the alkalosis than in the acidosis group. 3. More remarkable degeneration of the renal tubules is found from the rats of acidosis. 4. In the liver, mild non-specific reactive hepatitis is notable from the rats of both alkalosis and acidosis. 5. Slight nucleomegalic changes are seen from the salivary glands of the both experimental animal groups. 6. Very slight lipid depletion in the cortex of adrenal glands is visible from the both groups of experimental animals.
