Developing Dance Artists as Authentic Leaders through the Cultivation of Creativity

진성리더십에 대한 관심은 더욱더 커지고 있다. 이것은 4차 산업혁명에 따른 대학교육의 변화에 맞춰 현 사회에서 요구되는 새로운 역량 중 하나이기 때문일 것이다. 본 연구는 대학무용교육에서 진성리더십 개발에 대한 실제적인 방법론을 탐구하는데 목적이 있다. 구체적으로, 안무 교수학습 모델 안무 테크네와 프로네시스를 기반으로 무엇을 어떻게 가르칠지에 대한 방안을 제시한다. 연구의 목적을 실현하기 위해 2절에서는 이론적 연구로, 진성리더십, 창의성, 그리고 내러티브 탐구 이론을 살피며 3절에서는 진성리더십 안무교수학습 모델을 제시하며 세 가지 단계로 구성된다: 진성정체(authentic identity), 진성관계(authentic relationships) 그리고 진성행동(authentic behaviour). 또한 4절에서는 적용방안을 고찰하며 향후 연구의 방향을 제안한다.

매체이론을 통한 아드리안 몬도(Adrien Mondot)의 「씨네마틱(Cinematique)」에 내재된 인터랙티브 퍼포먼스의 확장성 연구

This study is focused in particular on Interactive Performance, where the artist makes use of digital technology directly on stage. In this endeavor, Adrien Mondot’s “Cinématique,” a project which made use of its dance troupe’s techniques of its own design, will be the subject of analysis. The project’s ingenious and uniquely designed software, a tool which makes virtual motility to dance routines possible, is a prime example of an interaction between a performance artist and digital media. As such, the primary focus of this study is on understanding the scope of potential and scalability for modern performance art through the analysis of “Cinématique” and its interactive characteristics. The study concludes by suggesting there be ample debates over the line that divides the correct use and misappropriation of digital media technology, assuring that it is used for the enhancement of performance art experiences, through a thorough comprehension of the potential and the necessity of digital media in performance art.

넌버벌 뮤지컬의 재관람 요인 분석연구: 「Let’s Dance, CRAZY!!」 중심으로

This study objects to analyze the impact factors of consumer’s buying behavior of non-verbal performance “Let’s Dance CRAZY!!” by understanding the characteristics of non-verbal performances. The methods of the study include a thorough literature review and semi-structured in-depth interviews with returning audiences. The study participants were selected amongst returning audiences who have watched the performance “Let’s Dance CRAZY!!”more than 6 times in their 20s and 30s. The results of the study illustrate that the impact factors that affected the consumer behavior for returning audiences of non-verbal performance were based on the performances’ “completeness”, “originality” and “participation” factors. This study concludes by suggesting a broader scope such as, wider range of age group, comparison of different performances etc. of impact factors that affect consumer behavior of returning audiences for non-verbal performance is investigated.

한국의 발레는 세계무대에 견주어도 손색없을 만큼 눈부신 성장을 거듭해왔다. 최근에는 대중들의 관심과 사랑을 받으며, 뛰어난 무대예술이자 문화예술로 인정받고 있다. 그러나 발레교육 현장에서는 발레무용수들이아름다운 외모와 체격을 지니고 기교에 매우 능숙해진 반면, 상대적으로 예술적 표현력과 창조적 상상력은 결여되었다는 우려의 목소리가 높다. 예술로서 발레를 행하기 위해서는 발레기능뿐만 아니라 발레정신을 함양할 수 있는 교육이 필요하다. 본 연구는 발레교육의 핵심적인 내용으로서 발레정신의 개념과 구성요소를 탐색하기 위해 질적 연구방법에 근거한 문헌분석, 예비조사, 심층면담, 개방형 설문을 활용하였다. 다수의 문헌 및 전문발레교육자들에 따르면, 첫째, 발레정신은 오랜 시간동안 발레를 체험하면서 습득하게 되는 내면적 측면으로, 발레의 핵심을 이루며 발레의 존재를 결정지어주는 가장 중요한 내적 가치이다. 둘째, 발레정신의 구성요소는 그 내용과 목적에 따라 신체적, 인지적, 감성적, 영성적 차원으로 구분된다. 신체적 차원은 자신의 신체를 인식하고, 포지션과 테크닉, 과학적, 해부학적 지식을 적용하는 것이다. 인지적 차원은 발레를 둘러싼 역사, 철학, 문화에 대해 이해하는 것이다. 감성적 차원은 발레동작과 음악에 대한 자신의 해석과 탐구를 바탕으로 감정을 표현하는 것이다. 영성적 차원은 발레를 통해 궁극적으로 성취해야 하는 이상향을 추구하고 이를 제대로 하기 위한 마음가짐이다. 마지막으로 발레정신의 개념 및 구성요소를 바탕으로 발레의 기능과 정신을 통합적으로 지도하기 위한 몇 가지 실천과 연구를 제언한다. Ballet education is gaining much attention due to the rising number of exported ballerinas to the global stage. This affirms the level of ballet education in Korea to be highly developed. However, current teaching methods in ballet education is heavily reliant on technique and ballet educators express their concerns. For such trained ballerinas are only prone to develop a beautiful physical appearance and good technique but lack in artistic and creative imagination. Therefore, technique-centered teaching is under penalization. The purpose of this research is therefore to identify the other (spiritual) dimension and clarify its components that make ballet education whole. This research implemented qualitative research methods. According to the analysed literature and interview, the spiritual dimension of ballet can be seen as an internal characteristic which acquires naturally through the many years of education in ballet. The study found that the spiritual dimension of ballet consists of four dimension; physical, cognitive, emotional and spiritual dimension. ``Physical dimension`` is related to the technique and the physical, anatomical knowledge to movement contained. ``Cognitive dimension`` is related to the understanding of history, philosophy, culture and other art forms that surround ballet. ``Emotional dimension`` is related to a dancer`s expression of interpreted feelings through movement and music. And lastly ``Spiritual dimension`` is related to ``enlightenment`` that a dancer could achieve. This study is at an early stage of a three-year study on teaching the spirit of ballet. An inquiry into the pedagogical methods and programs for effective teaching on the spirit of ballet and its four dimensions will follow.
