The reason I selected Oser`s theory is that it classifies religious characters in respect of the structuralism development psychology, searches the courses and steps of religious development, and has distinctions observing, analyzing and interpreting human action of various styles showing them in relationship with God as a transcendental being. In addition, a study such as this gives us an opportunity to reflect on Christian Education by helping to link the essence of belief, inside mentality of learners and problems to be improved in the education fields in connection with religious education. Oser`s theory does not intermediate knowledge about Bible only by means of a socio- scientific approach of receiving knowledge scientifically in the fields of education, but has a distinction of searching the relationship between God and individual religious states by many cases occurring in everyday life or by religious judgements related to religious lines of consciousness. The reason why the need of scientific study on the basis of reasonal thought has been required is that its method properly examines the real faces of religion abstract and conceptional, and then helps us make a form more hopeful and logical beliefs. It also helps us theoretically systematize belief of universal validity by accepting faithful cognitive distinction of beliefs in religious essence.

In the age of globalization, Korean churches are faced with critical situations because of the boundaries between their faith and personal life. There is a higher possibility of augmentation of isolation from society if Korean churches continue to fail to incorporate their biblical knowledge with their Christian life. Signs of post-Christianity, such as degradation of church growth, fading passion and dedication, changes in perception of worship, and rejecting conformity and valuing diversity, are becoming more common among Korean churches. Since many problems are associated with the lives of the church members, this study seeks methods to develop character linked to the Christian life as part of overcoming current disputes of the Korean church. Faith can arise from honesty, and trust and honesty is the bridge to trust in God. Trust is the path in which God comes to His people, as well as ttie bridge that builds the basic foundation for preaching the Gospel In this respect, the negative perception of a Christian's reliabilities and honesty, which are the base of Christian faith, by non-Christians can be an austere problem. The negative conceptions of Christians living supposedly right in wrong ways may mislead to the fabrication of Christians being untrusting and unfaithful. Although the account of these matters are from various aspects, one underlying reason why is due to the fact that Korean churches relatively put more emphasis on discipleship than citizenship, serving the world and accomplishing God's will outside of the church. Overall, the proposition of this study is to acquire a method of developing proper and sound characteristics for discipleship and citizenship based on the fruits of the Holy Spirit.
