The purpose of this study is to understand the population and employment decentralization and the urban spatial structure of Incheon, focusing on the land use LQ by administrative diistrict 'Dong'. This study will help to suggest urban policy alternatives for inducing desirable urban spatial structure of Incheon. For this purpose, firstly the process of population and employment decentralization is analyzed through population and employment density distribution by Dong. Second, the land use LQ by Dong is calculated, using the land uses from building management registration, which are categorized into urban uses and non-urban uses. Third, The influence of the population and employment decentralization to the urban spatial structure of Incheon by regression analysis. The results of regression analysis are as follows. Firstly, population and employment decentralization is highly correlated process. Secondly. population service industry employment influence land use LQ in the opposite directions. Thirdly, sales and residential are the most prominent land uses in the process of population and employment decentralization and the change of the urban spatial structure of Incheon
윤곽과 선분을 이용한 내용기반 화상정보 검색시스템의 구현

In this paper, we implemented the content-based image retreval system that indexes and retreves the images by acquiring contour information of images and by extracting lines from the object. For this purpose, we proposed the advanced line extraction algorithm called FSLHT(Flexible SLHT) which covers drawback of SLHT(Stright Line Hough Transform) and applied a DP(Dynamic Programming) algorithm to get a desirable similarity of images by lines. We estimated the counter features as a key value of sampled region to compensate for the problem that image contours are heavily depend on the noise. when performing the Hough transform we calculated the directionality based on the perceptional organizaton and transformed according to this direction to overcome the problem of time consuming and discontinuity.

Background: Numerous reports suggest the role of oxygen in melanogenesis. However, little has been reported on the effect of a hypoxic environment on cellular melanogenesis. Objective: The effect of low oxygen tension on cellular melanogenesis was investigated in B16 murine melanoma cells. Methods: Using cells cultured under an ambient (21% O2) or hypoxic (5% O2) condition, melanin content and tyrosinase activity were measured spectrophotometrically. The expression of tyrosinase, tyrosinase-related protein (TRP)-1, and TRP-2 were analyzed by RT-PCR and Western blot. Results: Culture of cells under hypoxic conditions caused significant inhibition of isobutylmethylxanthine (IBMX)-induced increase of melanin content. No cytotoxicity was observed during the hypoxic culture periods. Decreased melanin content occurred through the decrease of tyrosinase protein and activity (p<0.01). The mRNA levels of tyrosinase and TRP-2 were also decreased by hypoxia, while that of TRP-1 was unchanged. Similar inhibitions of melanin content and tyrosinase activity were observed in the cells stimulated with dibutyryl-cAMP. Conclusion: IBMX-induced melanogenesis in B16 cells was significantly inhibited under hypoxic culture conditions, suggesting the important role of oxygen tension in cellular melanogenesis.
