최근 국내외로 해상풍력단지 개발이 확대되고 있는데, 국내의 경우 서남해와 제주도를 중심으로 해상기상탑과 해상풍력터빈이 다수 설치되고 있다. 특히 기초 내외부의 수압차를 이용하여 무소음, 무진동으로 기초를 관입하는 개념의 석션버켓 기초는 해상공사의 경제성과 친환경성 측면에서 주목 받으면서 해상기상탑과 해상풍력터빈에 적용을 점차 확대해 나가고 있다.

For site verification, a prototype GFRP suction pile was produced, and a field test was performed in the field. The prototype hada diameter of 1.8 m and height of 3.0 m. To reduce the penetration resistance and buckling, the tip was reinforced with steel. The test-bed was located international water near the An-ma islands in the West Sea of Korea. The target layer was sedimented sand with SPT N-values of 20~40. The test-bed application showed a self-weight penetration of 0.5 m and a final penetration induced by suction of 2.2 m, which indicated that 96% of its entirebody was successfully penetrated. After penetrating the GFRP suction pile, a diver confirmed the good penetration. Averticality of 1.6° satisfied the criterion of 2.0°. For effective site installation, the site condition (depth, ground condition, etc.) had to be considered carefully to select the suction pressure to apply. The hybrid suction foundations were the group type. Thus, the seafloor condition, waves, and tidal current affected the caisson installation process (e.g., pile installation sequence, suction pressure, and amount of penetration). Therefore, further studies are required to improve the reliability and efficiency.

해상기상탑은 해상풍황자원 및 해양환경데이터를 측정하고 있으며, 국내의 경우 해모수 1호기를 설치하여 서남해안의 풍황자원을 측정하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 한반도 남쪽방향으로 갈수록 풍황자원이 높다는 평가에 근거하여 신안군과 진도군 사이의 해역에 적용하고자 해상기상탑 Ocean MAST를 설계하여 설치하였다. The Offshore mast measures the resolution wind characteristic resource and Marine Environment data, And it sets up 1 expiration of Haemosu in the case of the interior of a country and measures the wind characteristic resource of the Southwest Coast. In this paper, in order to apply to the sea area between Sinan-gun and Jindo County based on the evaluation that the wind characteristic resource is high for the Korean south direction over the time, the Offshore mast Ocean MAST was designed and it set up.
