This paper classifies the critical knowledge/skill set required to IS practitioners according to content or domain of knowledge : IS technology knowledge/skills, organizational and societal knowledge/skills, interpersonal knowledge/skills, and personal traits knowledge/skills. The survey reveals that Korean IS practitioners rate interpersonal knowledge/skills and personal traits knowledge/skills the most important, and organizational and societal knowledge/skills the least important. Specifically, they rate creative thinking, critical thinking, interpersonal communication skills, team working skills, personal motivation, operating systems, programming languages, DB/data warehouse, IS technological trend, networkicommunicationisecurity especially important. The survey also shows that Koran IS practitioners feel knowledge deficiency in almost all knowledge/skills areas. The results confirm that the curriculum of universities, the training and education programs of industries, and IS/IT education policy of the government should be revised as soon as possible.
제약이론(TOC)을 이용한 종합병원 외래 환자 대기시간 개선에 대한 연구

The purpose of this study is to the improvement of general hospital outpatients waiting time using Theory Of Constraints(TOC) methodology and to the development of a Reception Desk in general hospital. This study is to provide decision-making guidelines for hospital managers and to provide feedback for the efficiency of job process. The target people of the study are outpatients and Cashiers on Chungnam national university hospital in Daejeon. The methods of study are summarized as follows. First, The team managers from a Reception Desk group were appointed. This team managers have the adjustment authority to the Outpatients schedule of doctor and Cashier members. Second, The consolidation of the general Reception desk and special inspection the Reception Desk. A movement line and waiting time of patients were simple and fast to accept. As a result of study, it shows that the TOC is the method for a job process and waiting time improvement, patients` satisfaction increase and we need an objective measurement indexes in the medical treatment industry.

최근 정보시스템의 크기가 커지고, 유연성이 강조됨에 따라 정보시스템의 근본적인 대상인 조직의 업무프로세스를 위한 모델과 정보시스템 설계를 위한 모델, 그리고 이를 포용할 수 있는 유연한 소프트웨어 아키텍처가 중요한 이슈로 떠오르고 있다. 최근의 Process-Aware Information Systems(PAISs) 등장, 비즈니스 모델링에 관련한 Object Management Group(OMG)의 많은 표준들의 발표, UML의 급속한 보급, Model-Driven Architecture(MDA)의 개발, Service Oriented Architecture(SOA)의 도입 등은 이러한 사실을 증명하고 있다고 할 수 있다. UML의 급속한 보급은 요구사항과 설계 모델을 연계시켜 설계 모델에서의 많은 발전을 가져오게 하였다. 하지만, 비즈니스 모델의 요구 사항과 설계 모델로의 연계에 대한 연구는 상대적으로 아직 많이 부족한 상태이며, 서로 고립되어 있는 현상을 보이고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 OMG의 비즈니스 모델링 표준 중 비즈니스프로세스 모델을 위한 Business Process Modeling Notation(BPMN)을 중심으로 객체지향 소프트웨어 개발 프로세스에서의 비즈니스 모델을 요구 사항과 설계 모델의 핵심적 요소인 소프트웨어 아키텍처와 어떻게 효과적으로 연계 할 것인가에 대한 문제를 제기하고 접근 방법을 제언하고자 한다. As a business model for an organization, design model, and software architecture has received considerable attention, concepts of PAISs, MDA, and SOA are becoming a central issue recently. And OMG has published many standards for business modeling until quite recently. The rapid spread of UML has brought a lot of developments in design stage. However, the studies of connecting business model to requirement model, design model and software architecture are relatively not sufficient. Moreover, they are tended to be isolated. In this paper, we raise some issues for connecting business model to requirement model, design model, and software architecture in object-oriented software development process. And we suggest a way to solve those issues as using the BPMN that is a graphic notation for business process modeling.
