In this paper, we present the design of AES cipher processor based on Modified S-Box. In order to achieve minimized hardware complexity, sharing the S-Boxes for round transformation with the key scheduler are utilized. Also, the S-Boxes is designed by applying composite field arithmetic on GF(((2²)²)²) for further reducing the area of S-Boxes. The proposed AES cipher processor is coded in Veilog-HDL, and synthesized through the use of Xilinx ISE 14.7 tool. In order to verify the designed processor, timing simulation is also performed by using simulator, ModelSim 10.3.

The Induction Heating equipment is widely used for steel plate heating in the surface treatment process of steel industries. In the case of thin steel plate, for high efficiency We need the high frequency induction heating equipment more than 100㎑. But it is difficult to realize the high frequency and high power at the same time. That's why most high frequency equipment more than 100㎑ has been imported from advanced Manufacturer. This paper will describe the development of 100㎑/5㎹A inverter module for 100㎑/20㎹A induction heating. We used the LCL resonance topology and ZVS/ZCS switching technology. And we also developed the low loss gate drive board and plate busbar inverter stack. We proved the performance by various experiment.

The smelting system using induction heating technology has many advantages over conventional fossil fuel regarding energy efficiency, environmental aspect and so on. This paper introduces the principal and technical trends of induction heating technology, and describes recently developed 2500kW induction smelting inverter. The developed inverter is a series resonant type using high speed Thyristor (SCR) and employs state-of-art digital controller using DSP.

The authors, R&D member of DAWONSYS and Soongsil University, are developing 5000㎾ smelting inverter system by 2007 under the sponsor from Korea Energy Management Corporation As a part of the project, 2500㎾ inverter system has developed in 2005[6], and installed in real production site, and has been running for 7 months successfully. This report deals with the test result of 2500㎾ smelting inverter system and design for 5000㎾ smelting inverter system which is final target of this project.
