Hydraulic system has a good point that has high-energy-density. However, the energy-efficiency is low rather than electricity and pneumatic system. To solve this problem Load-Sensing (hereafter "LS") Hydraulic system is now being used. But LS hydraulic system becomes unstable in a certain condition due to the positive feedback. Here the LS hydraulic system is reviewed again and introduced HAWE LS valve (PSV) and pump (V60N) as a example of LS hydraulic products.

The simulation of nozzle flapper system for pilot pressure control are considered in this paper. For the simulation, the governing equation of the nozzle flapper system is remarked. The system consists of Pressure supply, Orifice, Hydraulic line, Nozzle and Flapper. These simulation was performed closed nozzle-flapper based rather than normal opened nozzle-flapper based. According to variables of 1) hydraulic line length, 2) inside orifice diameter size, showed the result pressure of nozzle-flapper. In case of longer hydraulic line, due to more line-friction 1) more initial pressure charging time is need, 2) the width of response pressure is narrowed. In case of larger inside orifice diameter, due to less line-friction 1) less initial pressure charging time is need, 2) the width of response pressure is narrowed. For the proper response pressure the space-dimension of the nozzle-flapper was checked as about 40㎛.

In this study, Festo educational hydraulic servo system (TP511 Didactic) widely distributed worldwide was studied for proposing basic data for efficient learning of hydraulic servo system. Characteristics, parameters, modelling, simulation, and experiment of each component of the system were carried out. The parameters of each part were acquired through calculations and experiments based on the information provided by the manufacturer, and the simulation results and experimental results were compared. In addition, the PID optimum gain obtained through the second rule of the Ziegler-Nichols tuning is applied to simulation and experiment, and the results are compared.

To be able to eliminate interferences in a system, it is necessary to isolate the fault and to establish the cause. Since a fault is often the result of several causes, it is essential to be aware of the effects of all potential individual faults. In this way, the individual causes can be investigated specifically and eliminated, whereby it is best to adopt a systematic procedure. Festo educational hydraulic servo system (TP511 Didactic) is globally used. In this study, For the case where this device receives disturbance to minimize the effects of disturbance in position control a state observer is introduced and tested by simulation to verify the usefulness.
