The purpose of this study is to compare muscle strength variation between isotonic exercise and isotonic-isokinetic exercise. Participants are 12-man and 12-woman whom they are healthy without medical history in joint and no experience in exercise as muscle strengthen. We performed experiment total 8-weeks that exercise 3-days a week each exercise pattern. We measured shoulder, knee and lumbar joint torque with BIODEX and circumference of muscle in upper arms once a week. The results showed that isotonic-isokinetic exercise pattern significantly more improved joint torque in shoulder, knee, lumbar than isotonic exercise pattern. Due to what isotonic & isokinetic exercise pattern supplied muscle strengthen and caused muscle contraction. This exercise pattern can be used new exercise training method for major athlete and normal people. Also this pattern con be used rehabilitation treatment.

로잉운동의 부하편차 방식 적용에 따른 상하지 생체 역학적 평가

The purpose of this study was to verify the validation of exercise effect with loading deviation during rowing exercise. We performed evaluation of based physical fitness and joint torque before the experiment for finding muscle unbalance. So we recruited twenty four subjects who have bigger muscle strength in more 20% than average one. Subjects divided two groups. One is dominant upper limbs(DU) and the other was dominant lower limbs(DL). Subjects performed rowing exercise using electric equipment (Robo.gym.Humonic.korea). Exercise is performed four sets a day including 25 times a set, and three days a week. Measurement consist of evaluation of based physical fitness and joint torque using biodex(biodex system3.USA). Evaluation of exercise effect performed each week in joint torque of shoulder, lumbar and knee joint and each month in based physical fitness. Also we adapted 30% of 1RM for muscular endurance and 70% of 1RM for muscle strength as exercise load. The results showed that the difference of maximal peak torque were getting increase significantly during exercise. Also difference of various factor in based physical fitness were getting increase significantly except flexibility and agility. This interpreted that rowing exercise with loading deviation types could provide muscle strength and muscular endurance exercise in same time. These results could be interpret to two ways. One is effect of improving physical fitness for rowing exercise and the other meaned validation of loading deviation in rowing exercise. Our study is going to verify the validation of loading deviation during rowing and we found out that loading deviation could provide muscle strength and muscular endurance exercise for improving muscle unbalance. Our study can be used development of exercise equipment and program for normal people with muscle unbalance. Also that provide effect of whole body exercise to anybody.

In this paper, capture motion and visual information from a virtual reality luge simulator to analyze muscular activity in the lower limbs. The Luge Simulator consists of a motion platform with a pneumatic module for weight distribution. We recruited luge athletes and healthy subjects and made real-time surface EMG measurements to estimate the muscular activity in the lower limbs according to the motion protocol of a simulator, and a test was conducted for each subject. The results indicated that the rectus femoris had the highest muscular activity according to the level of the slope and velocity of the luge. The soleus muscle showed a high level of activity during a turn in the luge according to the direction. We found that the development of a virtual reality sports simulator based on physical reaction results could bring positive effects to optimize reality and human cenesthesia.
전신진동운동이 20대 성인남녀의 슬관절 근기능과 근반응성에 미치는 영향

This study investigated the effect of whole-body vibration on muscle function and muscular reaction in the knee joint. We recruited thirty healthy subjects and divided them into a training group, who experienced whole-body vibration, and a control group, who did not. The training group performed whole-body vibration exercises for 30 min per day, 3 days a week, for 8 weeks. We measured knee joint torque to estimate muscle strength and reaction, using BIODEX System 3. Knee joint peak torque and total work performed increased significantly in the training group, and muscle acceleration time decreased. These results suggest that stimulation by whole-body vibration can improve muscle strength and reaction by improving muscle tone and increasing blood temperature and flow speed in muscular fiber. Our results also indicate that 4 weeks of exercise with whole-body vibration is required to improve the reaction response, and six weeks to improve strength.
성인여성의 보행 운동 후 전신진동이 근피로도 해소와 심박회복율에 미치는 영향

본 연구에서는 고강도 운동 후 전신진동이 근피로도 감소와 심박회복율에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 피험자는 총 20명으로 진동을 제공받는 그룹과 진동을 제공받지 않는 그룹으로 구성되어 있다. 고강도 운동은 경사 8.5도와 보행속도 4km/h를 30분간 제공하였고, 그룹별 진동유무별 의자형 진동기 위에서 30분간 휴식을 취하였다. 전신진동자극은 10Hz의 진동주파수와 5mm의 진폭을 제공하였다. 진동유무별 피로도 감소와 심박안정화 효과를 검증하기 위해 혈중 젖산농도와 실시간 심박수 변화를 측정하였다. 실험결과, 진동을 제공받는 그룹에서 95.2% 수준의 더 큰 근피로도 감소결과와 50.67%의 더 빠른 심박회복율 결과를 보였다. 이는 고강도 운동 후 전신진동이 근육속 혈관을 지속적으로 자극하여 운동 후 초과산소섭취를 빠르게 해소하고 혈액순환 기능을 증진시켜 피로도를 감소시킨다. 고강도 운동후 전신진동을 이용한 휴식은 노약자나 여성들에게 운동 후 다른 육체적 활동 없이 마무리운동으로 긍정적 효과를 기대할 수 있다. This research was to investigate the effect of fatigue reduction and heart rate recovery (HRR) according to whole body vibration (WBV). 20 healthy participants were recruited and divided into vibration group (VG) and none vibration group (NVG). VG was group with provided vibration and NVG was group without vibration. They exercised slope gait with 8.5 degree and 4km/h during 30min. They rested on the chair type vibrator during 30min. The vibration consists of 10hz as frequency and 5mm as amplitude. We measured the lactate in the blood and HRR before, immediately after exercise and after rest session. The results showed that lactate level in VG the more decreased at 95.2%. The result of HRR was similar including recovery at 50.67% in VG. The WBV with stimulated vessel in muscle assisted the recovery function by reducing the excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC) quickly and improving blood circulation. The rest with WBV could provide efficient cool-down exercise for elderly and women without other physical activities after exercise.
The Development of Smart Insole for Improvement of Human Body Imbalance during Walking

The purpose of this study was to develop and verify the smart insole based FSR sensor for measurement and improvement of the muscle strength imbalance. We recruited 15 subjects with muscle strength difference over 20% and 15 subjects with muscle strength balance below 10%. We developed the human body load insole and integrated modules using FSR sensor. Subjects walked for 5 minutes at a slope of 0% and a speed of 3 km / h on a treadmill with a smart insole. We measured the real-time muscle activity and foot pressure according to the muscle strength imbalance during gait. FSR data of the developed smart insole showed that the insole had similar accuracy and efficacy as muscle activity and foot pressure. This is the interval in which the muscle imbalance shifts from the stance phase to the load reaction, and the weight support is the largest, and the center of gravity of the human body passes over the whole foot, which is considered to cause the greatest imbalance. This suggests that there is a direct or indirect correlation between muscle strength imbalance of the lower limb and the imbalance of the body weight distribution during gait.
루지 시뮬레이터의 동작패턴 개발을 위한 선수들의 체력요인 평가

This research was to propose importance and necessity for estimation of physical fitness factors to develop motion pattern of luge simulator. Most of simulators have been built by technology to provide similar movement without exercise effect or enhancing performance. Therefore, most simulator has been descend to scrap iron, not a system. But in case of winter sports, there are four seasons in korea and we had disadvantageous condition compared to other nation with one season. Beside, luge player trained in poor condition because that it was not popular sports in korean. Many development have progressed but, there still only produced without database of physical fitness factor for improving performance to player. We tried to estimate and build database of basal physical fitness in winter sports player that were luge, biathlon, curling, alpine skies, sky jump and skeleton. Basal physical fitness consists of muscle strength in whole body, muscular endurance, agility, muscular reaction, exclusive power and aerobic capacity in cardiopulmonary exercise test. The results showed that luge player needed more muscle strength and endurance in lower limbs especially than other sports. This database from results could be fundamental research to develop simulator for improving performance.
