XLPE 절연물내의 전기트리 진전 시 PD 검출 및 특성분석

Solid insulation exposed to voltage is degraded by electrical tree process. And the degradation of the insulation is accelerated by voltage application. For this experimental, specimen of electrical tree model is made by XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene). And the size of the specimen is 7*5*7 ㎣. Distance of needle and plane is 2 ㎜. Voltages applied for acceleration test are 12 ㎸ to 15 ㎸. And distribution characteristic of degraded stage is studied too. As a PD detecting and data process, discharge data acquire from PD detecting system (Biddle instrument). The system presents statistical distribution as phase resolved. Moreover the processing time of electrical tree is recorded to know the speed of degradation according to voltage.

In the distribution networks, it is necessary to develop small and light voltage and current sensor for compact and digitalized switchgears. For this purpose, some researches have been continuing till now, CT(current transformer) and VT(voltage transformer) are one of that research. But conventional CT and VT have some problems, that is, have big size and saturation characteristics because of used to iron core. In this paper, CS(current sensor) and VS(voltage sensor), have some merits measuring of current and voltage magnitude as a alternated conventional equipment, were studied. So, this paper shows the process CS and VS design method, equivalent circuit and output result, respectively. As a result of this test, proposed CS and VS have linearity for the output, no saturation.

Partial discharge(PD) test for simulated insulation defects of used hydro generator stator winding was conducted to analyze the PD Parameters. Simulated insulation defects are classified by 5 types corona, slot, internal, multi and aging defect. Phase resolved partial discharge, statistical parameter (skewness, kurtosis), PD magnitude as a function of the test voltage(Q-V curve) and PD magnitude change under test voltage for 2 minutes are used as PD parameters. The analysis of PD parameters by 4 types are proved to be useful methods. In particular, PD parameter characteristics of aging defect could help to assess the aging condition of stator winding because aging defect has more weak insulation strength than other insulation defects : PD distribution is wide and flat, PD rises rapidly near $0^{\circ}\;and\;180^{\circ}$ and Q-V curve rises sharply and then gently drops.
