An experimental investigation has been made with the objcetive of studying the effects of air entrainment of fire strength. A rich jet flame is considered as an fire, and fire, and the air entrainment is controlled by introducing the tone excitation which is generated by means of a loudspeaker-driven cavity. The excitation frequency is chosen for the resonant frequency identified as a pipe resonance due to acoustic excitation. As the excitation intensity increases, the amplitude of oscillating velocity for inducing air entrainment is increased, the flame height decreased and the structure of diffusion flame gradually transformed to that of premixed flame.

The purpose of this study is to gain the authentic texts of Hyanga in order to interprete them. This study aims to complete the translation of the chinese letters of Hyanga to medieval Korean. This study is simultaneously to be a study of the system Hyangchal's grammar. Many scholars who have studied the grammar of Archaic Korean have con-stantly tried to discover the rules of decoding the Hyangchal. These attempts, how-ever, have not yet completed the aims. A recent study of Kim wan Jin makes the more decisive principles of decoding the Chinese signs of Hyanga to applicate practi-cally. But the conseguence of his study may be criticized for some reasons that it defeats the lyrical literariness of Hyanga. Because of this distortion of literariness of Hyanga from his study we need to reflex the his principles of the translation and the way of adopting them concre-tely to Hyangchal. From the conseguence of that reflexion we could find some tran-sformed principles inductively. 1. We could find the importance of literary convention to decode the Hyang-chal-signs. 2. We could find the principles of simplicity and easiness, econmics to en-code the lyrical experiences by chinese letters and to decode the signs' meanings and grammatical functions. 3. The so-called one sign-one sound principle had not always adopted to en-code the Hyanga. 4. The principle of meaning sign-centural and sound sign-subordinative could not always be adopted to decode the Hyangchal-expression system. With these reflexions of the systems of decoding the Hyanga, We could get new texts of Hyanga for the studies of the Hyanga within the contexts of poetics.
FASTLite를 이용한 backdraft 사고의 해석

This paper has two objectives. One is to introduce a software package, "FASTLite" for fire safety engineering calculation, the other to show the modeling result of a backdraft incident on the 62 WATTS street. A classic backdraft usually persists only seconds before exhausting their fuel supply but in this case the flame had persists for at least 6 and a half minutes. It is truly necessary to find out where the fuel came from to feed this flame for so long. The backdraft is successfully modelled by using FASTLite. To help understanding of this backdraft, the calculation with the door open is also carried out and compared to the backdraft.

Nasopharyngeal angiofibroma is uncommon, histologically benign vascular tumor that occurs almost exclusively in adolescent males. It is clinically malignant because it has propensity for locally destructive growth and fatal hemorrhage. Treatment of angiofibroma is controversial. The two major treatment modality are surgery and radiation. Adjuvant treatment with chemotherapy or embolization can be used as well. We experienced three cases of nasopharyngeal angiofibroma that was resected by transpalatine and endoscopic endonasal approach with good result. So, we report these with review of literature.
