본 논문에서는 Cellular/PCS/IMT-2000/Wibro 및 S-DMB의 서비스 대역을 모두 만족하는 통합 기지국용 광대역 안테나를 설계하였다. 바이코니컬 종단 부분에 테이퍼 구조를 적용하여 광대역 임피던스 정합을 구현하였으며, 시간영역 유한차분법(FDTD)을 통해 설계 및 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 측정 결과, 제작된 안테나는 대역폭 $0.79GHz{\sim}2.93GHz$에서 5.50 dBi 이상 최대 8.19 dBi의 이득 특성을 갖는다. In this paper, the broadband antenna for the combined base station of Cellular/PCS/IMT-2000/Wibro and S-DMB services is designed and the proposed antenna allows having sufficient coverage for each service band. In order to get the broadband impedance matching, the tapered sections are applied on the both terminus of hi-conical respectively. The design parameter is calculated and simulated by using FDTD method. As a result, the measured bandwidth of the proposed antenna is $0.79GHz{\sim}2.93GHz$ and the gain is distributed from 5.5 dBi up to 8.19 dBi.

In this study, the effects of chlorine dioxide (D) bleaching conditions on the delignification of hemp bast fiber were elucidated. Chlorine dioxide bleaching was carried out through three stages (DED) and five stages (DEDED), respectively. Applied amounts of chlorine dioxide at D₁ and D₂ stages were varied to find the optimum bleaching condition. It was found that the optical properties of its handsheet as well as the delignification of hemp bast fiber increased as the concentration of chlorine dioxide at D₁ stage increased. It was also notable that the bleachability of the DEDED bleaching stages was slightly more effective than that of the DED bleaching stages. The burst index of the handsheets made with bleached hemp bast fiber was higher than that of the unbleached samples, but the burst index of these samples decreased as their delignification increased. These results indicated that the higher concentration of chlorine dioxide at D₁ stage was major factor to improve the bleaching efficiency of hemp bast fiber.

Integration of RF front end module(FEM) into the antenna has been investigated in USPCS band (1.88㎓-1.99㎓). The FEM consists of input filter, power amplifier, coupler, power detector, bias switch and duplexer. The antenna was designed in planar inverted F antenna(PIFA) structure to implement it inside the handset. In order to avoid strong coupling between the antenna and FEM, a shielding ground layer was placed between them. The antenna size is 19㎜ by l0 by 6㎜ under which FEM whose size is 8㎜ by 5㎜ by 1.5㎜ locates. The antenna impedance was selected to match to FEM having better efficiency rather than gain since FEM has enough gain whose system spec is minimum of 20㏈. The antenna patterns are shown with and without FEM.

Despite the ubiquity of electronic media, paper is still the most generally readable carrier of information. Because paper materials are deteriorated by chemical, biological and physical factors over time, there have been major concerns about the decay of large collections of books, publications, old maps, historical artifacts, and written records. Therefore, manufacture of permanent paper has been a highly debated issue in paper conservation research. Through the use of permanent paper, our new records, journals, library books, art works, and all culturally and historically important documents can be preserved. In this study, handsheets were made of mixture of hemp bast fiber produced by soda pulping and HwBKP varying the amount of hemp. Physical, mechanical and optical properties of each handsheet were examined. As the ratio of hemp bast fiber increased, mechanical properties were improved significantly, but opacity decreased. After aging, the optical properties of the handsheets mixed with the hemp bast fiber more decreased than those of the non-mixed handsheet. The more mixture ratio of hemp bast fiber increased, the more decreasing rate of optical properties increased. As a result, it was confirmed that hemp bast fiber is a very promising resource for the manufacturing of permanent paper.

The evaluation of a powertrain system is one of the major issues to represent the overall vehicle performance. The test can be performed either as a part unit in a laboratory or as a vehicle on the proving ground. However, many disadvantages exist in the actual vehicle test - cost, danger, environment, etc. In this paper, a reliable test environment in a laboratory for the evaluation of the powertrain system is suggested. All parts related to the vehicle running performance are modularized and configured with 4 wheel drive transmission dynamometer. Then, the accelerating test, based on the actual vehicle test, is performed with the transmission dynamometer. The test results are compared to the actual vehicle test data. The test environment suggested in this research represents the performance of powertrain system well.

NURA대회 출전용 소형로켓은 내장부품의 증가로 전체 중량이 증가하였다. 그로인해 로켓이 안정적인 궤도에 도달하기 위해 큰 초기 추력을 요구한다. 본 연구는 고체추진제를 분할하여 연소면적을 증가시켜 초기추력을 증대시키는 것에 더 나아가서, 고체추진제를 다수의 입자형태로 제작하여 연소 면적을 극대화시켜 초기의 최대추력을 극대화하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 직경이 다른 입자에 따른 추력선도의 비교를 한 결과, 동일한 추진제의 질량에서 입자의 직경이 작고 개수가 많을수록 최대추력이 증가하는 것을 발견할 수 있었다. Model rocket for the NURA competition has been increased in its weight caused by increasing parts inside. Therefore, the rocket requires stronger propulsion to reach the safe orbit. The research hereby is to increase the combustion area separating solid propellant for higher initial propulsion purpose, and furthermore, to compose the solid propellant with several particles to maximize the combustion area to maximize the initial propulsion. After a comparison among particles with different diameters, we have found that under equal mass condition, the smaller particles" diameters and the more number of particles yield the larger propulsion.
