In this paper, we propose the frequency locking method of NRD guide gunn oscillator using ceramic resonator, we inserted that λ/x end teflon block on NRD guide gunn oscillator behind, and arranged to air gap space reflection type cylindrical ceramic resonator on the back. Frequency locking insertion range is ±1GHz at 60GHz. Because of locking get up by air gap space, locking point of reflection type cylindrical ceramic resonator is simple. NRD 가이드를 이용한 건발진의 안정화 방법에 관한 연구

In this paper, we propose phase locked loop(PLL) for stability of the NRD guide gunn oscillator. To develop stability oscillation source of 60GHz, we designed oscillator circuit using non-radiative dielectric waveguide technology. In phase locked loop circuit, reference frequency source is 10GHz dielectric resonator oscillator(DRO). VCO signal to compare with reference frequency is divided by 1/6 Θ band NRD guide line, and IF signal occured by harmonic mixer. Also, the change factor of IF signal changed current, and it is changed by input voltage source of VCO. In applied NRD guide gunn oscillator, operating frequency is 60GHz, and phase nose is 120dBc/Hz at 10KHz.

In this paper, a new type harmonic mixer based on our NRD guide technology is proposed. Harmonic mixer is composed of NRD guide to transmit RF signal, high permittivity sheet to match impedance, shottky diode mount, rear teflon block, bias line, and SMA connector to receive LO signal. Also, shottky diodemount is coposed of shottky diode, metal thin flim antenna to receive RF signal, diodemount to attach antenna. Measured conversion loss is around 8dB, with IF and Lo isolation levels better than 35dB.

A new type millimeter wave QPSK modulator using NRD guide is presented in this paper. NRD guide QPSK modulator consists of NRD guide circulators, NRD guide line, and PIN diode switch. NRD guide QPSK is superior VSWR charactrisitcs. In QPSK modulation, output deflection is low by phase shift(0, π/2, π 및 3π/2). Phase shift is 90˚±6˚ in 1GHz band(center frequency of 59.6 GHz). Therefore, NRD guide QPSK is utilized high speed wireless transmission system at milimter wave. Because of without TX and RX signal interference, we may be utilized by transceiver.

In this paper, transition between NRD guide and microstrip line is designed for millimeter wave amplifier. Transition is consisit of NRD waveguide lines between the two metallic plates spaceing less than half wavelength of operating frequency, feeder line inserted between NRD guides, and dielectric to be patterning strip line. LSM mode signal of NRD guide is transmit through feeder line, it is change by RF current signal in microstrip line. In transceiver for millimeter wave and microwave, because of without transmission loss between NRD guide and microstrip line, active circuit composition is possible. Therefore, it can be in the development of NRD-guide amplifier circuits.

A new type duplexer based on our NRD guide technology is proposed. Duplexer locates a circurator in center and antenna, NRD guide line of transmitter, NRD guide line of receiver are arranged for three directions of 120˚. Also, broadband filter is located of ceramic resonators in transmitter and receiver NRD guide line. In this paper, duplexer is superior skirt characteristics, tranmission lossless characteristics, and wideband characteristics in millimeter wave. Because of without TX and RX signal interference, we may be utilized by transceiver.
비방사 마이크로 스트립 선로를 이용한 밀리미터 대역의 세라믹 필터 개발

본 논문은 S-라인(비방사 마이크로 스트립)을 이용하여 무선 가입자 회선(WLL) 및 지역 다지점 분배 서비스(LMDS) 등 광대역 무선 가입자 망으로의 기술 적용을 위한 밀리미터 대역의 중심주파수 37GHz에서 세라믹을 이용한 대역 통과 필터에 관한 것이다. 아래 위가 도체로 덮인 유전체 기판 위의 선로 사이에 세라믹 공진기를 삽입시켜, 구조적 공진 특성을 이용함으로써 필터 특성을 얻어내는 방법으로 제작하였다. 이러한 필터 구조와 특성을 근거로 한 시뮬레이션을 하여, 1단 세라믹 공진기의 공진주파수를 찾는 공식과 4단 세라믹 공진기의 대역을 구하는 공식을 일반화 하였다. 또한, 4단 세라믹 공진기의 시뮬레이션 결과를 바탕으로 제작된 실험 구조물을 Network Analyzer를 사용하여 실험을 실시하였으며, 시뮬레이션 결과의 대역은 36.58GHz-37.650GHz, 리플과 손실은 -ldB 이내. Cutoff 특성은 S(2,1)그래프의 대역 좌우로 -35dB밑으로 1GHz이내인 것에 대하여 실험 결과의 대역은 36.6GHz-37.65GHz, 손실은 -ldB이내, 리플은 -3dB이내, Cutoff 특성은 S(2,1)그래프의 대역 좌우로 -30dB밑으로 1GHz 이내인 특성을 나타내었다. This paper is about band pass filter, using Ceramics in the condition of center frequency 370Hz at milli-wave. The band pass filter is applied to Broadband Convergence Network, representing WLL(Wireless Local Loop) and LMDS(Local Multi-point Distribution Service). Sticking ceramic between strip line on a dielectric material substrate with which conductor's covers upper and basal surface, One will house the exterior by using structural resonance. In this Non Radiative Microstrip Line Filter structure, based upon simulations, generalized the two formulas finding resonant frequency of 1step ceramic resonator and bandwidth of 4step ceramic resonator. Also, As a result of experiment, using Network Analyzer, about created a experiment of structure based on the simulation result of 4-step ceramic resonator, It showed good characteristic of targeted bandwidth, comparing simulated result of 36.58GHz$\sim$37.650GHz with experimented result of 36.6GHz$\sim$37.65GHz.
