      • 우라늄(VI)추출 상승반응속도의 추산조건

        From the literature surveys, the conditions for the reaction rate model being necessary to predict the enhanced quantitative extent of Uranium (Ⅵ) extraction with the D₂EHPA containing the accelerator were presented as follows. 1. When the interfacial reaction resistance appeared in the aqueous phase due to the value of activation entropy change (△S^(≠)) on the Uranium(VI), it was supposed that such an auxilliary ligand as acetate ought to be added to the aqueous phase. 2. Considering the very small amount of HRad on the interface determined by the Gibb's adsorption equation, it was supposed that the accelerator ought to be added to the organic phase because of the appearance of the interfacial reaction resistance in that phase. 3. When the optimum auxilliary ligand and the optimum accelerator added to each phase were used, it was supposed that the prediction of the reaction rate according to the rate-limiting step due to the values of △S^(≠), HRad,[HR]&[(HR)₂]was reasonable.

        Strain Gauge type clinometer usually use the pendulum as the operating mechanism, but they differ each other in the shape of the pendulum, the detecting method of the angular displacement of the pendulum and damping method. Strain Gauge type clinometer made experimentally was checked through the characteristic examinations. As the results of this study, we come to know that error in meter reading was within 5.6% F.S. and response time was about 0.2 sec.

      • 제주시 지역의 환경오염수준에 관한 조사

        "A Survey on the Levels of the Environmental Pollution in the Cheju City Area." The results of the questionnaire on the level of the environmental pollution in the Cheju City area are as follows. 1. From the views on the pollution of brooklets(66%) and the coastal area(60%) that is caused by the uncontrollable streaming of municipal wastewater, it is supposed that the brooklets are more polluted than the coastal area. The combusted gas emission from the cars(64%) restults in the air pollution of our area. Our area is supposed to be most polluted in summer (67%), the old Cheju City is more polluted than the new Cheju City(54%). and roadside areas crowded with stores are also polluted (40%). The traffic nioses have the greatest impact on the house living(72%). and they are usually generated in summer (77%) and in the afternoon (78%). 2. Comparing the degree of purchases of the alkaline ionizer after judging the polluted level of drinkable water(47%) with the interst in the boiler life in clearing the boiler, it is supposed that the habitant in our area has the more reasonable attitude toward the water pollution than toward the air pollution. 3. Protecting plans for the environmental pollution on which the frequently coming tourists for the areal peculiarity (destination) has impact (66%) are to be established.

      • 이중액막에 의한 우라늄(VI)연속추출의 해석

        외수상 우라늄(VI)농도를 1,000ppm으로 유지하고 에멀젼 유기상의 유속과 연속상의 유속을 변화시키면서 연속식 추출조에서 우라늄(VI)추출을 수행하였다. 우라늄(VI)이 D₂EHPA담체함유 이중액막에 추출되는 기구는 Corrected Advanced Front Model에 의해 해석되었다. 이 해석기구에 기초하여 연속식 우라늄(VI)추출모델을 설정하여 실험치와 비교하였다. 본 실험범위에서는 연속상의 유속과 에멀젼 유기상의 체류시간이 우라늄(VI)추출효율에 기여하는 조업변수임을 확인하였다. 연속식 우라늄(VI)추출시 에멀젼 유기상 유속을 일정하게 유지하여 연속상 유속이 증가할수록 추출평형에 빨리 도달하였다. 한편 연속상 유속을 일정하게 유지하여 에멀젼 유기상 유속의 증가할수록 추출평형에 늦게 도달하였다. 우라늄(VI)추출평형에 도달하는 시간이 빠를수록 우라늄(VI)의 추출효과가 감소하였다. 우라늄(VI)추출향상에 영향을 미치는 주 정상조업변수는 에멀젼 유기상의 체류시간이 아니라 연속상 유속으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 D₂EHPA담체함유 이중액막에의한 우라늄(VI)연속추출시 추출평형에 이르는 시간이 빠르면서 추출효과를 향상시킬수 있는 최적조업조건 추산이 주요과제로 제시할 수 있었다. The uranium(VI) extraction in the continuous vessel was carried out with the flow rates of continuous and organic phase. The initial concentration of uranium(VI) in the external aqueous phase was 1,000 ppm. The mechanism of batch uranium(VI) extraction through the double liquid membrane mediated by D₂EHPA was interpreted by the corrected Advanced Front Model. The continuous uranium(VI) extraction was analyzed by the extraction efficiency due to the above model. The times required for uranium(VI) extraction equilibria decreased with the increase of flow rates in the continuous phase under the constant flow rates in the organic emulsion phase. On the other hand, the times required for uranium(VI) extraction increased with the increase with the increase of flow rates in the organic emulsion phase under the constant flow rates in the continuous phase. Therefore the extent of uranium(VI) extraction decreased with the decrease of the times required for the uranium(VI) extraction equilibria. The main operating variable to increase the uranium(VI) extraction efficiency was proved to be the flow rates of continuous phase. The prediction of the optimum operating conditions for the increase of uranium(VI) extraction satisfied with the decrease of the times required for the uranium(VI) extraction equilibria was necessary for this experiment.

        산/알칼리 촉매를 사용한 우지와 자트로파유 혼합지방의 바이오디젤화

        The esterification of the reactants of Jatropha oil and methanol added by propyleneglycol was done using p-TSA catalyst. And then the emulsification of triglyceride and methanol was conduced by 1.0vol% GMS. The emulsified reactants were transesterified at 65℃ using TMAH and mixed catalyst (50wt%-TMAH+50wt%-NaOH) respectively. The esterification conversion at the 1:8 molar ratio of free fatty acid to methanol using 8.0wt% p-TSA was 94.7% within 80min. The overall conversion at the 1:8 molar ratio of mixed fat(50wt% Beef Tallow) to methanol and 65℃ using mixed catalyst was 95.4% The cloud point of Biodiesel decreased with the addition of petroleum diesel.

        The experiments were carried out through the reverse osmotic membrane to predict the effects of the operating conditions on the desahation. As the permeation fluxes of water under the constant flow rate and feed concentration were increased with the reverse osmotic pressure, the ratios of desalination were increased. As the feed concentrations were increased under the constant flow rate and reverse osmotic pressure, the ratios of desalination were decreased due to the larger permeation fluxes of salt than water. There were negkble effects of flow rate on the ratio of desalination under the constant reverse osmotic pressure and feed concentration. Therefore, the main operating variables were the feed concentration and the reverse osmotic pressure to determine the ratios of desalination.

      • 역삼투에 의한 염수탈염의 정상조작조건

        The conditions of steady desalination in brackish water through the reverse osmotic membrane are predicted. The experimental variables are reverse osmotic pressure(l0 atm, 30atm, 50atm), feed concentration(2,500ppm, 5,000ppm, 7500ppm, 10,000ppm) and the operating time(5min-30min). The slope of dNs / dt is decreased steeply for the initial permeation of salt. The time reaching the steady operation is decreased with increase of reverse osmotic pressure regardless of the feed concentration. The steady operation times are l0min and 25min respectively for the l0atm and 25atm. Desalination percentage is 97.6126 -99.5% for the steady operation condition.

      • 페놀이 메탄 발생속도에 미치는 영향

        Chemicals such as phenol inhibit the microbial metabolism. In this study, the effect of phenol on the methane generation and yield during anaerobic fermentation of organic synthetic wastewater was investigated. Experimental results obtained by changing the phenol concentration showed that the gas yield was decreased as the inhibitor concentration was increased. Methane generation rate was found to be expressed by a Monod-type equation in which a inhition factor was introduced as a function of the phenol concentration.
