컴퓨터의 수학교육에의 응용에 대한 본 연구는 다음과 같은 두가 결과를 얻어내었다. 첫째는, 컴퓨터를 수학교육 교과과정에 이용하는 방법론과 둘째는, 이와같은 교육방법에 따르는 컴퓨터에 대한 이해와 기술에 대한 고찰이다. 컴퓨터의 조류에 따라 컴퓨터를 이용하는 방법론을 분류하고, 각각의 다른 소프트웨어 및 하드웨어 조건에서 수학을 실험해보는 방법에 대한 연구이다. 손쉽게 구할 수 있는 휴대용 계산기에서부터 Intel 386/486과 같은 고성능 프로세서에 기초한 컴퓨터 등의 활용에 대한 연구가 이루어졌다. 중요한 것으로 위의 도구를 이용하여 구체적인 예를 제시했다는 것이다. This study aimed at investigating the following : one was to develop and analyze the methodology of applying computers in mathematics education and the other was to evaluate how extensive the background in computers in general to be prepared for the computer-applied mathematics education. This paper studied the ways of applying from as simple as a hand calculator to high-performance computers. Also studied was the quality of education on computers in general such as programming concepts as an effect of teaching method of applying computers in mathematics.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate some basic concepts contained in the high school calculus. The continuity of elementary functions is investigated by an intuitive treatment. Also, we consider the Maximum and Minimum Value Theorem, Mean Value Theorem, and their applications. We suggest that in the high school calculus, the rigorous definition of the integral should be introduced.

Let H^∞ denote the Banach algebra of bounded analytic functions on the open unit disc and M(H^∞) denote its maximal ideal space. In this paper, we show that a sequence {z_(n)} of points in a Stolz angle formed by two rays from a point on the unit circle with |z_(n)|↑1 is an interpolating sequence if inf_n ρ(|z_(n)|, |z_(n+1)| >0, where ρ is the pseudohyperbolic metric defined on the open unit disc. The Shilov boundary ∂ of H^∞ is a proper subset of M (H^∞)-Δ(Δ is the set of all point evaluations) and ∂ can be identified with the maximal ideal space of L^∞. It is shown ∂ that is the set of all homomorphisms of H^∞ on which all interpolating Blasckke products have modulus 1.

Euclid's Pythagorean Triples Theorem says the following: A triple of positive integers (a, b, c) is a Pythagorean primitive triple if and only if it has the form a = m² - n², b = 2mn, c = m² + n² where m and n are relatively prime and of opposite parity with m > n. Using Euclid's Pythagorean Triples Theorem, we create a function named thpleArray in WebScript language that generates all primitive Pythagorean triples array whose hypotenuses are at most a given positive integer and using this function we construct an interactive HTML calculator that displays all primitive Pythagorean triples in the Output Text Field whose hypotenuses are less than or equal to the positive number entered in the Input Text Filed.

There are many different primality tests and they can be classified into two groups: deterministic primality tests, probability primality tests. This study presents two type of primality tests by emphasizing on probabilistic primality tests. Using Web Scripting, we implement algorithms for the trial division primality test, the Wilson primality test, the Fermat PRP test, and the Miller-Rabin SPRP test.

A hyperbolic region Ω is called uniformly perfect if there exists a positive constant c=c(Ω) such that c≤λ_(Ω)(z)δ_(Ω)(z) for all z in Ω. For a holomorphic function f on the open unit disk D, let ρ(f) denote the hyperbolic radius of uniform univalence for f. We show that if Ω is uniformly perfect, then there exists a positive constant r(Ω) such that r(Ω) = ρ(φ) for any holomorphic universal covering projection φ:D→Ω. And we establish a monotonicity theorem of hyperbolic curvature for uniformly perfect hyperbolic regions.
확률.통계 및 이산수학 교과과정의 전산화 : Mathematica를 이용한 시뮬레이션 방법

computer symbolic algebra system such as Mathematica has become an indispensible tool in the art of teaching mathematics. Also, nowadays discrete mathematics concepts are largely regarded as important subjects to be taught and thus gradually forming itself as a viable topic in undergraduate curriculum. While advancement of computer systems adds an verstile tool into an inventory of teaching methodologies, creating virtuely entirely new dimension in the art of teaching mathematics, the pace and spectrum of taking advantage of developing techniques of teaching mathematics has been disappointingly piecemeal especially in the area of teaching probability and statistics. This paper suggested a new angle and developed exemplary routines in teaching probability and statistics by using computer-applied simulation methods.
