컴퓨터의 수학교육에의 응용에 대한 본 연구는 다음과 같은 두가 결과를 얻어내었다. 첫째는, 컴퓨터를 수학교육 교과과정에 이용하는 방법론과 둘째는, 이와같은 교육방법에 따르는 컴퓨터에 대한 이해와 기술에 대한 고찰이다. 컴퓨터의 조류에 따라 컴퓨터를 이용하는 방법론을 분류하고, 각각의 다른 소프트웨어 및 하드웨어 조건에서 수학을 실험해보는 방법에 대한 연구이다. 손쉽게 구할 수 있는 휴대용 계산기에서부터 Intel 386/486과 같은 고성능 프로세서에 기초한 컴퓨터 등의 활용에 대한 연구가 이루어졌다. 중요한 것으로 위의 도구를 이용하여 구체적인 예를 제시했다는 것이다. This study aimed at investigating the following : one was to develop and analyze the methodology of applying computers in mathematics education and the other was to evaluate how extensive the background in computers in general to be prepared for the computer-applied mathematics education. This paper studied the ways of applying from as simple as a hand calculator to high-performance computers. Also studied was the quality of education on computers in general such as programming concepts as an effect of teaching method of applying computers in mathematics.
Hyperbolic Curvature and k-Convex Functions

Let γ be a C2 curve in the open unit disk D. Flinn and Osgood proved that KD(z,γ)≥1 for all z ∈γif and only if the curve f γ is convex for every convex conformal mapping f of D, where KD(z,γ) denotes the hyperbolic curvature of γ at the point z. In this paper we stablish a generalization of the Flinn-Osgood characterization for a curve with the hyperbolic curvature at least 1.

computer symbolic algebra system such as Mathematica has become an indispensible tool in the art of teaching mathematics. Also, nowadays discrete mathematics concepts are largely regarded as important subjects to be taught and thus gradually forming itself as a viable topic in undergraduate curriculum. While advancement of computer systems adds an verstile tool into an inventory of teaching methodologies, creating virtuely entirely new dimension in the art of teaching mathematics, the pace and spectrum of taking advantage of developing techniques of teaching mathematics has been disappointingly piecemeal especially in the area of teaching probability and statistics. This paper suggested a new angle and developed exemplary routines in teaching probability and statistics by using computer-applied simulation methods.

Web Script(JavaScript, JScript, ECMAScript) is a portable, object-based scripting language. Web Script can do numerical computations not only with individual numbers, but also with objects such as arrays. In this paper, we define various user-defined functions and using them construct HTML Form Calculators that can compute Web Script expressions. For a given positive integer n, we let S(n) be the set of all primes that do not exceed n and p(n) be the number of all primes that do not exceed n. We create a HTML Form Calculator which can produce S(n) and p(n). We also introduce a method that can be used in analyzing numerical data.

Every integer can be expressed as a unique product of prime numbers. If a number n is composite, it will have a prime factor less than or equal to √n. To find prime factors of a number n, we first try dividing n by 2. Then, try dividing n by each of the odd integers less than or equal to √n. Once one prime factor p is found, do division on n/ p. This method is one of the most efficient methods for factoring small integers(say less than 10,000,000,000). In this paper, we create a function named factors that can implement the above division algorithm in Web Script and using the factors function we construct three interactive HTML Calculators: Prime Factorization Calculator, Primality Testing Calculator, and Prime Array Calculator.
