The international community's efforts to reduce greenhouse gases, a global environmental problem, are continuing, and as part of this effort, bio-epoxy resin, a sustainable and renewable resource, is emerging as an alternative. As part of this, research has begun to replace petrochemical epoxy resin used in heavy electric equipment for distribution and substation with bio-epoxy. Ten types of samples were prepared by mixing petrochemical epoxy DGEBA and bioepoxy ESBO in content ratio (phr). In addition, DGEBA/ESBO/M10_65wt% Mixture Composites 10 are used to replace insulation materials for heavy electric power distribution equipment. A variety of samples were prepared. Among the various properties, the most important electrical properties, AC dielectric breakdown strength and dielectric properties, were evaluated. Among the electrical insulation breakdown and dielectric properties, DGEBA:ESBO= 70phr:30phr and DGEBA:ESBO=70phr:30phr/M10_65wt% Composites had the potential for commercialization in heavy electric equipment for distribution.

The survey was carried out on the 1,802 subjects of remote urban populations from 1st to 31st, August. 1968, for the purpose of understanding their current status of sickness prevalence and utilization of medical care. The summarized results are as follows: (1) Socio-medical characteristics of the surveyed people: a) No occupation 35.6% Non applicable 20.6% (less than 14: years old) Students 18.6% Daily waged laborers 10.3% Regularly waged laborers 4.1% b) The majority of the surveyed people (about 50%) were less than middle school graduates in education, and 20.5% were non applicable (less than 6 years old) c) Their living conditions were very low, only half of them had their own houses, while the others were living in rented houses. Also their house were poorly located: In detail, 59.2% of them was near the refuse heep of village, 30.8% were within the circumference of pubic lavatories, 8.2% were not far from the swamps. d) As to the sources of water supply, more than half (54.1%) drank the water from the public well. The proportions of people who used the public pipe's water. were 42.4%. (2) Sickness and Utilization of Medical Care: a) Prevalence rate 176.5 cases out of 1,000 persons had sickness during the time surveyed: Incidence rate, 127 cases out of 1.000 person. b) It was revealed that persons without regular occupations had the highest frequencies of sickness during the period (317.5 cases per 1,000 jobless persons), daily waged laborers were next (221.6 cases per 1,000 daily waged laborers), the third were regularly waged laborers (162.2 cases per 1,000 regularly waged laborers), the fourth were students. (115.1 cases per 1,000 students) c) The amount of sickness were 89 cases before 1st, August, 1968 and 229 cases during the time surveyed, 318 cases totally. Meanwhile 170 cases were cured completely during August, 1968, but 148 cases passed August without complete treatment. d) Up to 65% of people living in remote area expressed a desire for a new medical care system which would enable them to receive free medical care, whenever and whoever got sick. But 25.6% of them wanted a more positive and a higher quality of services from the health center. e) As to the utilization of medical care, the majority of the population (42.2%) consulted the pharmacy in case of sickness, only 9.6% of them made a visit to doctor's clinic, and roughly the same rate (7.3%) visited herb doctors. Whereas the utilization of health center was lowest (1.3%), the strengthening of medical care activities in the health center is urgently required.

The flow field around four cylinders for various angles was investigated utilizing particle image velocimetry(PIV) technique. Flow field was recorded by video camera first. Then application of PIV technique was done to the flow field. The results turned out to be useful to analyze complex flow field around multiple cylinders.

Such system will increases competitiveness in the global market to expand exports. It will give an example for the fitness for Naval Vessel.
