Shan He(Shan He),Lili Yao(Lili Yao),Xingyu Zhao(Xingyu Zhao),Weiwei Liu(Weiwei Liu) 아시아사회과학학회 2023 International Science Research Vol.3 No.2
Objective To measure residents’ abilities to acquire, analyze and evaluate information on media in southwestern China and to explore its predictive factors. Methods The convenience sampling method was used. A web-based questionnaire survey was conducted among 774 residents during the Spring Festival in 2020. Results Young, highly educated, unmarried, high-income, and urban residents preferred to seek and acquire information about COVID-19 epidemic through new media channels. Elderly residents tended to obtain information through television. Residents with low educational background and rural residents were more dependent on community information media. To analyze residents’ abilities in the judgement of 15 statements about COVID-19, residents with a master’s degree or above (OR = 2.755, [95% CI 1.160-6.542]) had better media literacy in identifying false health information released on social networking. Rural residents (OR = 0.609, [95% CI 0.433-0.855]) had lower media literacy. The total score decreased by 2.6% for every one-year increase of age. Conclusion Residents’ abilities to acquire, analyze and evaluate information were affected by their demographic characteristics in southwestern China. The authorities and local communities should develop different approaches of information dissemination, with the help of traditional and new media. It is important to improve the level of residents' media literacy, in order to achieve better effect in information dissemination and reception.
Equivalent hysteresis model based SOC estimation with variable parameters considering temperature
He, Yao,Li, Qiang,Zheng, Xinxin,Liu, Xintian The Korean Institute of Power Electronics 2021 JOURNAL OF POWER ELECTRONICS Vol.21 No.3
Estimation of the state of charge (SOC) of a lithium-ion battery is one of the key technologies in battery management systems. The accuracy of SOC estimation mainly depends on the accuracy of the battery model. The traditional Thevenin model has limited application due to its fixed parameters. In addition, its accuracy is not high. This paper proposes a variable parameter equivalent hysteresis model based on the Thevenin model. The parameters of this model are regarded as variables that vary with temperature and SOC. They can be identified by hybrid pulse power characteristic (HPPC) experiments. In addition, the model also considers the hysteresis characteristics of the open circuit voltage (OCV) and uses a mathematical recursive equation to describe it. Experimental and simulation results show that the proposed model has a higher accuracy and a wider application than the Thevenin model. On the basis of this model, SOC estimation is carried out based on modified covariance extended Kalman filter (MVEKF) at different temperatures. The results show that the SOC estimation accuracy of the MVEKF method is significantly higher than that of an extended Kalman filter (EKF).
Wavelet characterizations of variable Hardy-Lorentz spaces
Yao He 대한수학회 2024 대한수학회보 Vol.61 No.2
In this paper, let $q\in(0,1]$. We establish the boundedness of intrinsic $g$-functions from the Hardy-Lorentz spaces with variable exponent ${H}^{p(\cdot),q}(\R^{n})$ into Lorentz spaces with variable exponent ${L}^{p(\cdot),q}(\R^{n})$. Then, for any $q\in(0,1]$, via some estimates on a discrete Littlewood-Paley $g$-function and a Peetre-type maximal function, we obtain several equivalent characterizations of ${H}^{p(\cdot),q}(\R^{n})$ in terms of wavelets.

The fall armyworm, Spodoptera frugiperda (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae), is a major maize pest worldwide and has caused huge economic loss. To explore the control tactics of S. frugiperda in mountain maize planting fields, studies were performed in China from 2020 to 2021 for screening the S. frugiperda-resistant maize variety, seed coating agents, chemical insecticides, and biological agents. The results showed that 75 g/hm 2 Emamectin benzoate had better controlling efficacy (with a control efficacy of 91.05% at 1d) than other chemicals, so it was recommended in the high incidence period of pests. Compared with other seed coating treatments, 50% Lumi ngwei TM625FS (with a control efficacy of 76.19% at 10d) was the best seed coating against S. frugiperda. The biological control “Telenomus remus + Picromerus lewisi” and “T. remus + Eocanthecona furcellata” had good control efficacy on S. frugiperda with 76.01%, 64.10% at 20d, respectively. Additionally, there were lower numbers of S. frugiperda in maize variety GuiDan6, BaoYu9, and YanBaiYu8. In summary, this research rec ommended four effective pest management strategies (GuiDan6-resistant maize variety, 50% Lumingwei TM625FS-seed coating agents, 5% emamectin benzoate-chemical pesticide, and “T. remus + P. lewisi”-biological control) in mountain maize planting fields. The study provided effective control strategies for

Surface modification of montmorillonite (MMT) with 3-glycidoxypropyl trimethoxysilane (3GTO) in mild methanol/water mixture has been investigated in detail. The influence of reaction conditions (including silane concentration in feed, reaction time and reaction temperature) on the grafting amount and yield of silane, and further on the grafting pattern of silanes was studied by thermogravimetric analysis, elemental analysis, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and BET. Higher silane concentration, longer reaction time and higher reaction temperature are all benefit to higher grafting amount. When the grafting reaction was performed with 3 mmol/g silane concentration, at $90^{\circ}C$ for 24 h, the grafted amount and yield of silane reached 1.4443 mmol/g and 30%, respectively. Based on the XRD and BET data analysis, a speculation that the grafting pattern of silanes was concentration dependence was proposed.

BACKGROUND: All-trans retinoic acid (ATRA) promotes the osteogenic differentiation induced by bone morphogenetic protein 9 (BMP9), but the intrinsic relationship between BMP9 and ATRA keeps unknown. Herein, we investigated the effect of Cyp26b1, a critical enzyme of ATRA degradation, on the BMP9-induced osteogenic differentiation in mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), and unveiled possible mechanism through which BMP9 regulates the expression of Cyp26b1. METHODS: ATRA content was detected with ELISA and HPLC–MS/MS. PCR, Western blot, and histochemical staining were used to assay the osteogenic markers. Fetal limbs culture, cranial defect repair model, and micro–computed tomographic were used to evaluate the quality of bone formation. IP and ChIP assay were used to explore possible mechanism. RESULTS: We found that the protein level of Cyp26b1 was increased with age, whereas the ATRA content decreased. The osteogenic markers induced by BMP9 were increased by inhibiting or silencing Cyp26b1 but reduced by exogenous Cyp26b1. The BMP9-induced bone formation was enhanced by inhibiting Cyp26b1. The cranial defect repair was promoted by BMP9, which was strengthened by silencing Cyp26b1 and reduced by exogenous Cyp26b1. Mechanically, Cyp26b1 was reduced by BMP9, which was enhanced by activating Wnt/b-catenin, and reduced by inhibiting this pathway. b-catenin interacts with Smad1/5/9, and both were recruited at the promoter of Cyp26b1. CONCLUSIONS: Our findings suggested the BMP9-induced osteoblastic differentiation was mediated by activating retinoic acid signalling, viadown-regulating Cyp26b1. Meanwhile, Cyp26b1 may be a novel potential therapeutic target for the treatment of bone-related diseases or accelerating bone-tissue engineering.
Protective effect of adiponectin on paraquat-induced pulmonary fibrosis in mice
Rong Yao,Yarong He,Zhi Zeng,Zongan Liang,Yu Cao 대한독성 유전단백체 학회 2015 Molecular & cellular toxicology Vol.11 No.2
Pulmonary fibrosis (PF) is the most common complication of paraquat (PQ) toxicity, which lacks an effective treatment. This study aimed to investigate whether exogenous administration of globular adiponectin (APN) isoform provided protection against PQ-induced PF, and examined the possible mechanisms underlying these effects. Eighty BALB/C mice were randomly divided into control, PQ, lowdose APN, and high-dose APN groups. Human lung WI-38 fibroblasts were similarly divided into control, PQ, and APN groups and examined at 24 h, 48 h, and 72 h after PQ exposure. Hematoxylin and eosin (HE) and Masson trichrome staining were used to compare the histopathologic changes in the mouse lung tissues. Western blot and real-time quantitative-PCR (RTPCR) were used to measure the protein and mRNA expression of transforming growth factor β1 (TGF-β1) in mice lung tissues and α-SMA, type III collagen, and NF-κB p65 in lung fibroblasts. Dihydroethidium (DHE) was used to detect intracellular superoxide anion (O2-) in fibroblasts. APN administration significantly ameliorated PQ-mediated fibrosis histologically and reduced the protein and mRNA expression levels of TGF-β1 in mouse lung tissues in a dose-dependent manner (P<0.05). When fibroblasts were pretreated with APN, the expression of α-SMA and NF-κB p65 were down-regulated, and O2- decreased. Expression of the anti-inflammatory factor IL-1Ra was upregulated following PQ exposure (P<0.05). This study revealed the beneficial effects of APN against PQ-induced PF, which may have occurred through suppression of NF- κB dependent inflammatory and TGF-β1 mediated fibrotic events
PHOTOLUMINESCENT ENHANCEMENT OF HgWO4 NANOFILMS USING TiO2 ADJUSTMENT
XIN-YAO HE,RUNPING JIA,CHUN-FA OUYANG,XIA WANG,JUN-HE YANG 성균관대학교(자연과학캠퍼스) 성균나노과학기술원 2007 NANO Vol.2 No.6
As a new nanomaterial, HgWO4 nanofilms are prepared by the self-inventive technique of collodion nanoparticles-dispersal and film-formation. Their photoluminescent properties are enhanced and then controlled through nano-TiO2 doping. These approaches not only ensure film uniformity and fluorescence (FL) enhancement, but also realize a FL increase/decrease conversion effect. The relationships between HgWO4 nanofilms' PL intensities and TiO2 doped amounts are in good agreement with Gaussion function, and maximum PL intensities of HgWO4 nanofilms are located at 3.8% ratio of TiO2 nanoparticles.
