<P>The purpose of this study was to investigate the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects of the combined extract of Rhei rhizoma and Coptidis rhizoma (RC-mix) in experimental model of acute reflux esophagitis. The antioxidant activity was assessed by<I> in vitro</I> 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) and 2,2′-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS) assays. RC-mix was given at 100, 200, and 400 mg/kg body weight 2 h prior to induction of reflux esophagitis (RE). After 5 h, the effects of RC-mix treated rats were compared with those of normal and control rats. The representative flavonoid contents of RC-mix, such as sennoside A, epiberberine, coptisine, palmatine, and berberine, were detected using HPLC. The elevated esophageal mucosa damage was markedly ameliorated by RC-mix treatment in a dose-dependent manner. Furthermore, the administration of RC-mix reduced the increase of serum reactive oxygen species (ROS) and peroxynitrite (ONOO<SUP>−</SUP>). The improvement of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) levels were marked in the group given RC-mix. Moreover, the elevation of inflammatory mediators and cytokines by nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-<I>κ</I>B) activation in control rats decreased by RC-mix pretreatment. These results indicate that RC-mix treatment reduces the pathological states of esophagitis<I> via</I> regulating NF-<I>κ</I>B mediated inflammation related to oxidative stress. </P>

Fencing was introduced about 50years ago in korea. But fencing was an elite sport, not a sport for all. Therefore, there haven't been any programs for adults or children starting fencilng in korea. The optimum age to begin learning fencing is 7~10 years old, but fencing in korea is started until junior high school. For these reasons, there are not any fencing clubs for children and no teams for elementary school students. All competitions by KAFA(Korean Amateur Fencing Association) and KSC(Korea Sports Council) are the games among junior high school students. If fencing teams are organized by elementary schools, competitions will be held by KAFA. But it is very difficult, because there is no effort to spread money on fencing in elementary schools. In this paper, a program for youger fencing beginners is proposed. This program is studied by referring to programs of advanced countries with an eye to the future. If there are coaches for elementary school students in the future, they will be a help to this program.

오늘날 현대사회는 빠른 속도로 변화하고 있다. 컴퓨터가 등장하여 청소년들의 놀이문화와 가치관 등의 변화를 가져왔고, 우리가 살고 있는 지구환경도 과학의 발전속에서 파괴되어 우리인간이 살 수 없는 곳이 생겨나고 있다. 인간의 도덕성이 상실되어 가는 현대 사회속에서 육체적, 정신적으로 건강하면서 인간이 생활하는 사회도 건강하기 위해서는 스스로의 생활속에서 이루어지는 생활체육의 필요성이 대두된다고 보며, 보다 인간다운 삶을 위해서는 삶의 질 향상도 중요하지만 도덕과 질서가 살아있는 밝은 인간사회를 추구하는데 생활체육의 필요성을 미흡 하지만 본 논문에서 살펴 보았다.
전자재료인 리드 프레임의 구조에 따른 이종재료간의 열응력해석과 접합부의 신뢰성

This paper discusses distribution of thermal stress, strain at near the joint and investigates the reliability of solder joints of electronic devices on a printed circuit board. As Electronic devices are composed of different materials, thermal stresses generate at near the interface, such as solder joints and interface between IC device and lead frame pad due to the differences of thermal expansion coefficients. As results of thermal stress-strain, micro crack often occurs thermal fatigue fracture at the interface of different materials, The initiation and propagation of micro crack depend on the environmental conditions, such as storage temperature and thermal cycling. Finally, this paper experimentally shows a way to supress micro cracks by using Fe-Ni alloy clad lead frame, and investigates crack and thermal fatigue fracture of TSOP(Thin small outline package) type on printed circuit board.
