Vol.0 No.69
This study is done to understand about the role of Namin in politics and society at late Joseon Dynasty. Especially, It is focused on political and social tendency of Hanyeum Lee, Deok-hyung pedigree that played a central role in geunginamin(近畿南人). Because of Lee, Deok-hyung"s dedication to King Seonjo(宣祖) and King Gwanghaegun(光海君), his pedigree had prospered. But, After the Injo-banjeong(仁祖反正), activity of Namin was limited. Despite of this circumstance, Lee, Deok-hyung pedigree had maintained its status through a marriage and communication with other influential family. After the death of Lee, Deok-hyung, his descendants received the funeral address and monumental inscription from many famous pedigree at that time. In the middle of the 18th, while Namin was being separated on its own, his pedigree seemed political tendency near to Munoepa(門外派). Meanwhile, as King Yeoung-jo(英祖) ascende-d the throne, Namin was neglected and as a result musin-rebellion(戊申亂) allied with soron(少論) was happened. At that time, Lee, Deok-hyung pedigree was working between suppression troop and rebellion troop. After the rebellion was suppressed, Tangpyeong(蕩平) policy started in earnest, Namin were recruited and either Lee, Deok-hyung pedigree, standing on his past dedication to dynasty. In the latter half of the King Yeoung-jo, through the Lee, Deok-hyung"s gukbulcheonwi (國不遷位) recognition, his descendant became to have a status as the influential family that was recognized by a state. After the late 18th, they had gone toward an official through Mungwa(文科) and Mugwa(武科). Meanwhile, Some people like Lee, gi-yang(李基讓) had played an important role in geunginanim and also had been said the person who represented Namin by King Jeong-jo(正祖).

This study examines trend of Lee family during Joseon period and tracks the formation of faction and the course of going into government service with their political trend, targeting family of a descendant of Sunsungoon, prince of Jeongjong among Lee family. A descendant of Sunsungoon branched out to faction with their residence having separated. They entered into government service through National Examination after they pass through fourth generation. It is said that they steadily produced successful candidate, but there was a difference between each faction. It is necessary to track the reason of that variation by comparing with other Lee families. Each faction of a descendant of Sunsungoon has different political stance. While most of faction was working in Seoin, a descendant of Byeongsan was working as Dongin’s representative figure after Dongin and Seoin had been separated. After then, they engaged in Namin affiliation. In particular, they played a crucial role during Namin years at the early Sukjong. The royal family of the Joseon Dynasty had made genealogy since the nation was established. By being registered at Genealogy of the Royal Family (璿源錄), they identified that they are the member of royal family. Despite the fact that they are registered after then, they made their own branch records at the early 19th. That is, A branch records, so-called Jeongmyobo, was published at 1807(Sunjo 7). This was done in the same context that other Lee families started to publish branch record during the late Joseon dynasty. A discussion about this was already brought up since the late 17th. Publication of branch record by Lee family, a trend that seek out legitimacy as noble family, seems to have impact on other Lee families. Since 1807, when branch record started to be published, the book called Sunsungoon branch record was issued into 1864(Gapjabo) and 1900(Gyeongjabo) was published as the book called Sunwonsokbo(璿源續譜) at Jongchinbu. After then, 1926(Byeonginbo), 1959(Gihaebo), 1979(Gimibo), 2001 (Sinsabo) were published in order. A description above could be thoroughly understood by in-depth consideration such as comparing with other Lee families. It is expected that examination about each individual Lee families will proceed.
The Design of SiGe HBT LNA for IMT-2000 Mobile Application
Jeiyoung Lee,Geunho Lee,Guofu Niu,John D.Cressler,J.H.Kim,J.C.Lee,B.Lee,N.Y.Kim 한국전자파학회JEES 2002 Journal of Electromagnetic Engineering and Science Vol.2 No.1
This paper describes a SiGe HBT low noise amplifier (LNA) design for IMT-2000 mobile applications. This LNA is optimized for linearity in consideration of the out-of-band-termination capacitance. This LNA yields a noise figure of 1.2 dB, 16dB gain, an input return loss do 11dB, and an output return loss of 14.3 dB over the desired frequency range (2.11-2.17 GHz). When the RF input power is-23 dBm, the input third order intercept point (IIP3) of 8.415 dBm and the output third order intercept point (OIP3) of 24.415 dBm are achieved.

Disaster response operations are critical for decreasing the devastating impacts that result in casualties and property damages. Since these operations require cooperation in dynamic and complex situations, the responding organizations require a solid organizational structure collectively. This article introduces computational designs and evaluations of alternative organizational structures for disaster responses to resolve the disconnections between resource demands and supplies. In particular, this research consists of (1) organizational structure designs with two optimization techniques, (2) agent-based simulations that virtually replicate disaster response contexts, and (3) social network analysis to interpret the relations between the structures and the performances from the network perspectives. We applied this approach to log records of Hurricane Katrina, and our evaluations suggest that alternative organizations would improve operation outcomes, that is, increase the successful resource delivery counts and reduce a number of organizational conflicts. This computational approach could be further utilized in designing and evaluating organizations under complex and dynamic situations.
