The voided slab have many advantages, light weight, high load-distribution capacity, low cost and beautiful appearance, etc. But, they have also many cracks due to difficulties in designs and construction, analysis, shrinkage, installation and rising force of voided tube. This paper presents the retrofit effects with CFS of RC voided slab. As a results of this study, it proved that the strip pattern has to be profitable than full-face pattern in performance such as crack, ultimate loads, stifness and, and retrofit length is desirable to extent beyond 0.7L. Also, it proved that the retrofit on full-section has to be profitable than voided-section in performance, and the kinds of end block has not influence on retrofit effects. The overlay length of CFS is desirable to extent approximately.

This paper introduces a push-out test program conducted for the perfobond rib shear connectors. Push-out test speciemen consists of profiled steel sheeting, perfobond rib, reinforcement, and concrete. To provide longitudinal shear resistance between the profiled sheeting and the concrete, perfobond rib with a number of holes was used, the parameters considered in the design of perfobond rib were the spacing and location of holes. To validate the effectiveness of the proposed system, push-out test has been conducted. The results of test have shown that the perfobond ribs can be effectively used for shear connection in the steel-concrete composite decks.
