아동의 심리적 복지 척도개발과 타당화 연구

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study were four:
first, the study attempted to explore the dimensionality of psychological well-being.
second, the study formulated analytical framework concerning the child psychological well-being.
third, it involved the identification and measurement of the child psychological well-being based on its conceptual and analytical framework.
finally, the major purpose of the study was aimed at establishing the construct validity regarding the instrument of assessing child psychological well-being.
Instrument for assessing psychological well-being was developed with 3 dimensions(sense of efficiency, sense of support, sense of improvement) 9 variables(sense of control, sense of achievement, sense of confidence, sense of acceptance, sense of relation, sense of assistance, sense of immersion, sense of morale, sense of hope) 126 items and sample of 727.
In order to select items for inclusion in theses scales, factor analysis and Cronbach 봬 were performed. An adjusted item analysis was used factor analysis and correlation of test-item score. Factor analysis was followed by varimax and factor roading .30, and total-item score correlations of the instrument.
The results based on the above criteria, the scale contained 80 items. The child psychological well-being scale contained 3 dimensions (sense of efficiency, sense of support, sense of improvement) 8 variables (sense of control, sense of achievement, sense of confidence, sense of acceptance, sense of intimacy, sense of immersion, sense of morale, sense of hope) and 4 rating scale of 80items. And the estimates of reliability for the scale was high, Cornbach 봬 was .962 and generalizability was .875.
After the scale development, various validation procedures was using sample of 500. Three examples was concurrent validity, criteria related validity, and contrasted group validity. There appeared to be, sufficient evidence for validity of child psychological well-being instrument form the validity procedures.
The significance of the present study was theoretical, methodological and practical. Its theoretical significance stemmed from conceptualizations of child psychological well-being. The present investigation contributed to understanding of child psychological well-being.
The methodological significance of the study lied in the approach to be utilized. The present study was through generalizability try to apply scale validity procedure.
The practical significance of the present study lied in the development of specific instrument for the measurement of the particular aspects of child psychological well-being. The development of an instrument for the measurement of such variables provides the opportunity for assessing child psychological well-being.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

종래에는 물질적 풍요를 아동복지의 기본 요건으로 고려하였으나, 최근에는 물리적 환경 뿐 아니라 삶의 질에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있다. 이런 인식의 증가에 따라 삶의 질적인 측면에 대한 학문적, 실제적 연구들이 제시되고 있으나, 주로 성인을 대상으로 연구가 이루어지고 있을 뿐 아동의 복지감을 측정할 수 있는 도구는 찾아보기 어렵다. 따라서 본 연구는 아동의 심리적 복지 척도를 개발하고자 다음과 같이 연구문제를 설정하였다.
1. 심리적 복지의 개념모형을 구안한다.
2. 개념모형에 기초해 아동의 심리적 복지 측정모형을 구안한다.
3. 측정모형에 기초해 아동의 심리적 복지 척도를 개발한다.
4. 개발한 척도의 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증한다.
이상의 연구문제를 중심으로 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
1. 연구문제 1에 따라 심리적 복지의 개념모형을 구안하였다.
본 연구는 심리적 복지를 행복, 만족, 안녕, 사기와 유사한 개념으로 보았다. 심리적 복지는 객관적 상황에 따라 영향을 받지만 상황에 따라 변화하는 일시적 감정이 아니라, 생활전반 또는 인생전반에 대한 주관적 평가의 긍정적 측면으로 정의하였다. 그리고, 심리적 복지의 구성요인으로 욕구의 충족여부, 활동과정의 몰입정도, 생활경험, 개인성향이 상호작용하며 이들의 중심에 주관적 준거를 두고 심리적 복지를 개념화하여 나타내었다.
2. 연구문제 2에 따라 아동의 심리적 복지 측정모형을 구안하였다.
본 연구는 심리적 복지를 개인적 차원의 유능감, 환경적 차원의 지지감, 개인과 환경의 상호작용차원으로 향상감을 제시하였다. 3차원은 개인이 주관적으로 갖게되는 느낌이라는 의미로 '느낄 감(感)'을 사용해 '~감'이라 명명하였으며, 각 차원은 하위 영역을 포함하여 3차원 9영역으로 구성하였다. 첫째, 유능감 차원은 통제감, 성취감, 자신감의 3영역을 포함하며 둘째, 지지감 차원은 수용감, 유대감, 조력감의 3영역을 포함하며 셋째, 향상감 차원은 몰입감, 의욕감, 기대감의 3영역을 포함한다.
3. 연구문제 3에 따라 아동의 심리적 복지 척도를 개발한다.
본 연구는 3차원(유능감, 지지감, 향상감) 9영역(통제감, 성취감, 자신감, 수용감, 유대감, 조력감, 몰입감, 의욕감, 기대감)으로 아동의 심리적 복지 측정모형을 제시하였다. 이에 근거해 각 영역별 14문항씩 총 126문항으로 아동의 심리적 복지 척도 시안을 제작하였다.
초등학교 5학년 아동 727명을 대상으로 요인분석 결과, 유대감 영역과 조력감 영역이 동일 요인으로 나타났으며, 이를 친밀감이라 하였다. 따라서 3차원(유능감, 지지감, 향상감) 8영역(통제감, 성취감, 자신감, 수용감, 친밀감, 몰입감, 의욕감, 기대감) 총 80문항의 4단계 평정척도로 아동의 심리적 복지 척도를 개발하였다.
4. 연구문제 4에 따라 아동의 심리적 복지 척도의 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증한다.
3차원 8영역 80문항으로 구성된 아동의 심리적 복지 척도의 신뢰도 검증 결과, 신뢰로운 척도로 나타났다(Cronbach α= .9622, 일반화가능도 계수는 .875). 또한, 척도의 타당화를 위해 교차타당도, 공인타당도, 대비타당도를 검증한 결과 타당성을 확인할 수 있었다.
이러한 과정을 통해 본 연구는 포괄적이고 모호한 개념으로 인식되던 심리적 복지의 개념을 측정 가능한 구체적 변인으로 제시하였으며, 3차원 8영역 총 80문항으로 아동의 심리적 복지 척도를 개발하여 타당화 하였다.
