명화를 활용한 브레인스토밍이 유아의 창의성과 자기조절능력에 미치는 영향 : 소집단 중심으로 = The Effects of brainstorming Activity using Masterpieces on Young Children's Creativity and Self-Control Ability :Focused on small grouped

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 소집단 중심으로 명화를 활용한 브레인스토밍이 유아의 창의성과 자기조절능력 향상에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 것이다.
본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위한 연구문제는 다음과 같다.
1. 소집단 중심으로 명화를 활용한 브레인스토밍은 유아의 창의성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가?
2. 소집단 중심으로 명화를 활용한 브레인스토밍은 유아의 자기조절능력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가?
본 연구는 만 5세 유아 60명을 대상으로 실험집단 30명, 비교집단 30명을 선정하여 8주 동안 주 2회씩 총 16회를 실시하였다. 실험집단의 유아들은 명화를 감상한 후 명화를 활용한 브레인스토밍을 하였고 비교집단의 유아들은 명화를 감상한 후 브레인스토밍을 하지 않고 그날의 계획된 일과 활동을 하였다.
본 연구에서 사용한 창의성 검사 도구는 전경원(2000)이 제작한「유아 종합 창의성 검사」를 사용하였고, 자기조절능력 검사 도구는 이지현(2001)과 유혜정(1998)이 Kendall과 Wilcox(1979)에 의해 개발된 자기조절능력 검사지(Self-Control Rating Scale : SCRS)를 참고로 하여 수정ㆍ번안하고, 김지아(2002)가 신뢰도를 검증한「자기조절능력 검사」를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS Win 12.0을 이용하여 t-test를 실시하여 분석 하였다.
본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 소집단 중심으로 명화를 활용한 브레인스토밍을 경험한 실험집단의 유아들이 비교집단 유아들에 비해 전체적인 창의성이 높게 나타났으며, 창의성의 하위요인인 유창성, 융통성, 독창성, 상상력 점수에서도 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다.
둘째, 소집단 중심으로 명화를 활용한 브레인스토밍을 경험한 실험집단의 유아들이 비교집단 유아들에 비해 전체적인 자기조절능력 점수가 높게 나타났으며, 자기조절능력의 하위요인인 자기통제력, 충동성감소, 주의집중력 점수에서도 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다.
결론적으로 소집단 중심으로 명화를 활용한 브레인스토밍이 유아의 창의성과 자기조절능력을 유의하게 증진시키는 효과적인 유아-교수 방안이라고 결론지을 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to understand the effects of brainstorming activity using masterpieces focused on small grouped on the creativity and self-control ability of children.
Research questions for this study are as follows;
1. How do brainstorming activity using masterpieces focused on small grouped effect children's creativity?
2. How do brainstorming activity using masterpieces focused on small grouped effect children's self-control ability?
The subject used in this study were 60 five-year-old young children in the kindergarten located in Seoul, Korea. They were divided into two groups: 30 experimental children's group and 30 control children's group. Experimental group took part in brainstorming activity using masterpieces focused on small grouped. The experimental treatment was carried out 16 times in total for 8 weeks in proportion of two times a week.
The test instruments used in this research are 「Korean Comprehensive Creativity Test for Young Children: K-CCTYC」developed by Jeon, Kyung- Won(2000) for testing creativity and Kim, Ji-Ah's 「Self-control Ability」based on the test results of Kendall and Wilcox(1979).
To determine the effects(that brainstorming activity using masterpieces focused on small grouped has) on young children's creativity and Self-control Ability, dates gathered from pre and post test between the two groups were analyzed through t-test using SPSS program.
The results of this study were as follows;
First, it was found that experimental group which engaged in brainstorming activity using masterpieces focused on small grouped showed higher improvement in creativity ability than control group. As for the sub-factors of determines creativity such as fluency, flexibility, originality, and imagination the score of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group.
Second, it was found that experimental group which engaged in brainstorming activity using masterpieces focused on small grouped showed higher improvement in self-control ability than control group. As for the sub-factors of determines creativity such as impulsivity reduction, self-control abilities and attentiveness the score of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group.
In conclusion, it is found that brainstorming activity using masterpieces focused on small grouped has influence on children's creativity and self-control ability. This suggests brainstorming activity using masterpieces focused on small grouped can be effective teaching-learning methods for children's creativity and self-control ability.
