청소년내담자의 애착이 작업동맹 및 상담성과에 미치는 영향 = (The)influence of attachment on working alliance and counseling outcome for Korean adolescent clients

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구의 목적은 청소년내담자의 애착이 작업동맹과 상담성과에 미치는 영향을 규명하고 밝히는 것이다. 연구 문제는 부모애착과 또래애착, 상담자에 대한 내담자애착이 작업동맹과 상담성과에 어떠한 영향을 주는지, 그리고 부모애착과 또래애착, 상담자에 대한 내담자애착이 상담성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 작업동맹의 매개효과가 있는지 알아보는 것이다. 이러한 연구문제를 검증하기 위하여 선행연구의 결과들을 바탕으로 하여 독립변인으로는 청소년내담자의 부모애착, 또래애착, 상담자에 대한 내담자애착을 설정하고, 작업동맹을 매개변인으로, 상담성과를 종속변인으로 하여 영향력을 분석하였다.
청소년내담자의 부모 및 또래 애착을 측정하기 위해 옥정(1998)이 번안하고 타당화 한 Armsden과 Greenberg(1987)의 부모 및 또래 애착 척도 개정본(Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment Revised: IPPA-R)을 사용하였다. 상담자에 대한 내담자 애착을 측정하기 위해 지승희(2001)가 번안하여 타당화 한 Mallinckrodt 등(1995)의 상담자에 대한 내담자 애착 척도(Client Attachment to Therapist Scale: CATS)를 사용하였다. 또한 청소년 상담 척도에 대한 구성을 위해서 작업동맹은 청소년용 작업동맹특성 척도(정은미, 2003)를 간편형으로 제작하여 사용하였으며, 청소년용 상담회기성과를 측정하기 위해서는 연구자가 개발한 척도를 사용하였다.
연구대상은 서울과 경기도, 충청도에 있는 청소년상담(지원)센터와 사설청소년상담기관에서 현재 상담 중인 중․고등학교 청소년 내담자 140명이었다. 상담자에 대한 내담자애착과 작업동맹 특성을 고려하여 3회기 이상 진행 중인 상담사례에 한해 설문을 실시하였다. 자료는 SPSS 12.0 프로그램과 Amos 4.0 프로그램을 사용하여 기초통계 및 상관분석과 공변량구조분석을 실시하였다.
이 연구에서는 세 개의 가설적 모형을 설정하여 이 중 경험적 자료를 가장 잘 설명할 수 있는 모형을 선정하였다. 구체적으로 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
설정한 모형들의 적합도를 비교한 결과 모형 2(경쟁모형 1)가 최종모형으로 선택되었다. 최종모형의 적합도 지수는 양호한 것으로 평가되었다. 분석결과를 구체적으로 살펴보면, 부모애착 및 또래애착은 작업동맹에 직접적인 영향을 미치고, 상담자에 대한 내담자애착은 작업동맹과 상담성과에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 매개효과 검증결과, 부모애착, 또래애착, 상담자에 대한 내담자 애착은 작업동맹을 매개로 상담성과에 간접적인 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
이상의 연구결과 작업동맹과 상담자에 대한 내담자애착은 상담성과에 직접적인 영향을 주고, 부모애착, 또래애착, 상담자에 대한 내담자 애착은 작업동맹을 매개로 하여 상담성과에 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있다. 또한 작업동맹은 청소년상담에 있어서도 매우 중요한 상담성과 매개변인임을 확인하였다. 따라서 청소년상담에서는 내담자의 애착을 파악하여 상담과정에서 작업동맹을 잘 형성하는 것이 상담성과를 위해 유용하며, 특히 상담자에 대한 내담자의 애착은 성공적인 상담을 위해서 중요하게 다루어져야 할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to find out the influence of adolescent clients' attachment on working alliance and counseling outcome. For the purpose of this study, the verification was made in respect to the relationship among parent and peer attachment, client attachment to therapist, working alliance, and counseling outcome.
Based on the past study results related to the parent and peer attachment, client attachment to therapist as a independence variable and working alliance as parameter are set up, its influence to counseling outcome.
As a research tool, the existing scales were adopted for the Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment-Revised version(IPPA-R), Client Attachment to Therapist Scale(CATS). Working Alliance Characteristics(by Eunmi Jung, 2003) was revised by the researcher. And Adolescent Counseling Outcome was developed by the researcher.
Research participants were 140 adolescent client in Seoul and metropolitan area who has being the counseling. In term of data, SPSS/WIN 12.0 program and AMOS 4.0 program were utilized and the correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling were used. In this study, three models were proposed and the best fit model to explain the empirical data was selected.
The research result is as follow:
As a result of comparing the fitness indices in the model, the model 2 was selected as the final model. In the test of model 1, the fitness indices are x2=122.094, x2/df=1.545, p=.001, RMSEA=.063(.039-.084, 90% CI), CFI=.973, TLI=.964, GFI=.894.
The results of indicated below.
As a result of verifying the mediating effect, parent attachment and peer attachment showed a positive direct effect on working alliance. Client attachment to therapist showed a positive direct effect on working alliance and counseling outcome. Working alliance showed a positive direct effect on counseling outcomes. And parent attachment, peer attachment, and client attachment to therapist showed a positive indirect effect on counseling outcome.
It was found out that working alliance mediate counseling outcome associated with parent attachment, peer attachment, and client attachment to therapist.
As a result of the research, it shows that parent attachment, peer attachment, and client attachment to therapist affect counseling outcome with the mediation of working alliance. The working alliance is confirmed as an important variable mediating the client's variable and the counseling outcome in the process of adolescent counseling. Therefore, in case an adolescent client desires to have a professional assistance, a counselor should make relation with the client. In addition, client attachment to therapist showed a positive direct and indirect effect on counseling outcome. These results show that the relationship between the adolescent clients and their counselor was well establish, and their relationships is a important factor to working alliance and counseling outcome.
