유치원 교사의 의사결정 참여정도와 집단적 교사효능감에 관한 연구 = Early childhood teachers' participation in decision-making and collective teacher efficacy

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유치원 교사의 학력, 교육경력, 담당유아연령, 근무기관의 배경변인에 따른 의사결정 참여정도와 집단적 교사효능감이 어떠한가를 알아보고 의사결정 참여정도와 집단적 교사효능감 간의 관계를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 P시에 근무하는 유치원 교사 473명으로 미회수분과 결측치를 제외한 347부를 최종분석 하였다. 연구결과, 우리나라 유치원 교사들이 보통 이상의 의사결정 참여정도와 집단적 교사효능감을 인식하고 있으며 교사의 배경변인에 따라 차이가 나타난다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 즉, 학력이 높고, 교육경력이 높으며, 만5세아를 담당하고, 공립유치원에 근무하는 교사가 의사결정 참여정도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 집단적 교사효능감의 경우는 학력이 높고, 공립유치원 교사가 집단적 교사효능감이 높은 것으로 나타났으나, 교육경력과 담당유아연령에 따라서는 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 또한, 유치원 교사의 의사결정 참여정도는 집단적 교사효능감과 정적인 상관이 나타났는데 이는 의사결정 참여정도가 높을수록 집단적 교사효능감이 높아진다는 것을 의미한다. 의사결정 참여정도 중 특히 집단적 교사효능감에 영향을 미치는 요인은 교육과정운영과 교구 및 시설관리였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is two-fold. The first is to determine whether early childhood teachers' participation in decision-making and collective teacher efficacy will differ according toteachers' background factors. The second purpose is to investigate the relationship between teachers' participation in decision making and collective teacher efficacy. Subjects were 327 teachers in preschools and kindergartens in Busan, Korea. To assess the teachers' participation in decision-making, a questionnaire constructed by Russell, Cooper and Greenblatt (1992) and adapted by Lee(2008) was used. Collective teacher efficacy was measured using a questionnaire conceptualized by Goddard, Hoy and Hoy (2000) and translated by Kim (2003). The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 15.0. The results are as follows. First, clear differences, corresponding to teachers' background factors, are found in the teachers' participation in decision-making and in collective teacher efficacy. Second, teachers' participation in decision-making correlates positively with collective teacher efficacy.
