글 없는 그림책을 활용한 문학 활동이 유아의 그림책에 대한 흥미와 그리기 표상능력에 미치는 영향 = The Effects of Literature Activities Using Wordless Picture Books on Children`s Interest in Picture Book Reading and Drawing Representation

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 글 없는 그림책을 활용한 문학 활동이 유아의 그림책에 대한 흥미와 그리기 표상능력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아보는 것이다. 연구대상은 어린이집 만 5세 유아 30명이었으며, 글 없는 그림책을 활용한 문학 활동을 8주 간 실시한 후 유아들의 그림책에 대한 흥미의 변화와 그리기 표상능력의 변화를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 글 없는 그림책을 활용한 문학 활동은 유아의 그림책에 대한 전체적인 흥미를 높이는 효과가 있었고 구체적으로는 읽기의 선호도, 적극적 읽기, 생활과 관련짓기 등의 하위영역에서 유아의 그림책에 대한 흥미를 높이는 효과가 있었다. 둘째, 글 없는 그림책을 활용한 문학 활동은 유아의 전반적인 그리기 표상능력 및 기본도형과 선의 병합, 다양한 색채, 세부적 묘사, 조화로운 구성, 다양한 형체, 주제관련 표상, 표상의 창의성, 그림의 완성, 표상과 언어의 연계성 등의 하위영역에서의 표상능력을 높이는 효과가 있었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of literature activities using wordless picture books on children`s interest in picture books and drawing representation. The subjects of this study are 30 five-year old children. The literature activities using wordless picture books were implemented for 8 weeks in a preschool class. The results of this study are as follows. First, the literature activities using wordless picture books improved young children`s interest in picture books, for example, they have had preferred picture books, more actively participated picture reading and applied picture book related knowledge in their everyday life. Second, there were significant effects on children`s overall drawing representational ability and some sub-categories of drawing representational ability, such as basic pattern and line, using various color, detail description, harmonic composition, various form, representation degree related to subjects, divergent thinking ability, perfection of picture, complicity of representation and language. In conclusion, literature activities using wordless picture books have positive effects on young children`s interest in picture book reading and drawing representation.
