유아교사의 교직윤리관련 딜레마에 나타난 갈등요인 = The Reasons for Conflicts in Emerging Early Childhood Teachers' Professional Ethical Dilemmas

The purpose of the study was to investigate the reasons of conflicts related to ethical dilemmas which early childhood teachers experience.
The participants were 6 early childhood teachers. Three participants were ex-early childhood teachers and the others were current in-service teachers.
In-depth interviews were conducted 4 times for each teacher. The data was analyzed into 4 sub-categories of early childhood teachers' ethical codes announced by NAEYC.
The results showed that the main reason of conflicts related to children was teachers' identity. The main reason for conflicts related to the children's family was the teachers' emotional control.
The main reason of conflict related to colleagues was courage and fidelity. The main reason of conflicts related to the community was care and positivity. It was expected that teacher education should be provided for promoting professional ethical perception and power of execution.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 유치원 및 보육교사가 경험하는 교직윤리 관련 딜레마에 나타난 갈등요인을 알아보는 것이다. 유아교육 및 보육 경력 3년 이상의 전, 현직 교사 6명을 대상으로 4개월에 걸쳐 각 교사별로 일대일 심층면담을 4회씩 실시하였다. 연구결과의 분석은 NAEYC(2005)의 윤리강령에서 4가지로 제시한 유아교사의 교직윤리 영역에 따라 내용범주를 나누어 각각에서 나타난 딜레마 상황을 추출하였으며 각 딜레마에 내재된 갈등요인의 내용과 이에 대한 교사들의 인식을 기술하였다. 연구결과 영유아와의 관계에 있어서 갈등의 주요요인은 교사 정체성과 관련된 것이었으며, 영유아가정과의 관계에 있어서는 교사의 정서조절, 동료와의 관계에 있어서는 용기와 진실성, 가치판단이었으며, 지역사회/사회와의 관계에 있어서는 배려와 적극성에 관련된 것이었다. 연구결과에 기초하여 교직윤리 의식과 실천력의 함양을 도모하기 위한 교사교육방안의 필요성을 제기하였다.
