부모유대와 대인애착간의 관계에 대한 지각된 사회적 지지의 매개효과 = The Mediating Effect of Perceived Social Supporton the Relationship Between Parental Bondingand Interpersonal Attachment

The purpose of this study was to better understand the mediating effect of perceived social support on the relationship between parental bonding and interpersonal attachment. Three hundred and thirty college students completed questionnaires. The results are as follows. First, there was a significant correlation among parental bonding, perceived social support, and interpersonal attachment in both the male and female groups. Second, perceived social support fully mediated the link between maternal care and sub-scales of interpersonal attachment(dependance and anxiety) only in the female group. These findings help us to understand diverse path from parental bonding to interpersonal attachment of college students.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학생의 부모유대와 대인애착 간의 관계에 대한 지각된 사회적 지지의 매개효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 서울, 경기 지역의 대학생 330명을 연구대상으로 하였다. 측정도구는 Parker, Tupling, 그리고 Brown(1979)이 개발하고 Gamsa(1987)가 수정한 부모유대 질문지(Parental Bonding Instrument: PBI), Cohen과 Hoberman(1983)의 대인관계지지 평가 질문지(Interpersonal Support Evaluation List: ISEL), 그리고 Collins와 Read(1990)의 성인애착 질문지(Adult Attachment Scale: AAS)를 사용하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 남학생 집단과 여학생 집단 모두에서 부모유대, 지각된 사회적 지지, 그리고 대인애착 간에는 유의미한 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 여학생 집단에서만 지각된 사회적 지지는 어머니 돌봄과 대인애착의 하위요소(의존과 불안)간의 관계를 완전 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구결과는 대학생들의 부모유대에서 대인애착에 이르게 되는 다양한 경로를 이해하는데 도움을 제공하리라 기대된다.
