대인관계와 학교성적이 학교청소년의 주관적 행복감에 미치는 영향: 성별 및 학교급별 비교 = The effects of interpersonal relationships and academic achievement on the subjective well-being among school adolescents -Comparison of gender and school types-

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aimed to examine the direct & mediate effects of both interpersonal relationships and academic achievement on the subjective well-being among school adolescents. At the same time, this study also attempted to examine whether these effects had any differential impact based on gender and school types(middle or high school). The major findings were as follows. First, both interpersonal relationships and academic achievement had direct and significant effects on the subjective well-being and theses effects were maintained regardless of gender and school types. Second, the degree of relationships with both parents and teachers had a positive influence on the academic achievement. However, the degree of relationship with friends had a negative influence on the academic achievement. Third, for female students, the interpersonal relationships with parents, teachers, and friends had significantly influenced on the academic achievement. However, relationship with friends had no significant impact on the academic achievement for male students. In the comparison of school types, it was revealed that the effects of relationships with parents, teachers, and friends all significantly influenced on the academic achievement among high school students. But, for middle school students, only relationship with teachers were significantly related with the academic achievement. These results indicated that the mediate effect of academic achievement had a differential effects based on gender and school types. Finally, the limitations of this research and suggestions for future research were discussed.
