유치원교사의 직무환경의 위험요소와 심리적 소진과의 관계에서 교사효능감의 역할 = Mediating Effect of Teacher Efficacy in the Relationship Between Risk Factor of Job Environment and Psychological Burnout of Kindergarten Teachers

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was conducted to test mediating effect of teacher efficacy in the relationship between risk factors of job environment and psychological burnout of kindergarten teachers. Three hundred private kindergarten teachers in Busan participated in this study and completed Test of Risk Factor of Job Environment, Psychological Burnout Inventory, and Teacher Efficacy Inventory. Collected data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. Results of analyses showed that lack of challenge opportunity, role ambiguity and work overload among risk factors of job environment significantly predicted psychological burnout of kindergarten teachers. Further analyses were conducted in order to investigate more specifically the influence of risk factors on psychological burnout and found that influence of risk factors of job environment were different according to sub-factors of psychological burnout. Moreover, the influence of risk factors of job environment on psychological burnout of kindergarten teachers were mediated by teacher efficacy. Finally, practical implications of these results for preventing and treating teacher burnout were discussed with suggestions on future research.
