초등학생의 수학학습부진 개선을 위한 수학적 의사소통 중심의 수업 모형 연구 = A Study on the Development of Elementary School Mathematics Teaching and Learning Model for the Slow Learner

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to develop an elementary school mathematics teaching-and-learning model focused on the practical and effective improvement of slow learners` mathematics learning. This model was specially constructed by applying the mathematical communication as a main method. To do this, in this model we tried to provide the slow learners with mathematics problems meeting properly to their own problem-solving abilities. Then we let them express their own problem-solving process through the ``mutual peer teaching system`` and ``math journal writing``, which make it as a teaching-and-learning model providing a lot of mathematical communicating experiences. After development of the model, we applied it to small number of elementary school 4th-grade slow learners, and analysed the observational results of their problem-solving process and mathematics learning attitudes. In conclusion, we could expect this model might increase the slow learners` positiveness and activeness toward their own mathematics learning which are primary factors for the improvement in their poor mathematics learning progress.
