대학생의 거부민감성과 대인관계 유능성의 관계: 다차원적 경험회피의 매개효과를 중심으로 = Rejection Sensitivity and Interpersonal Competence in University Students: A Focus on the Mediating Effect of Multidimensional Experiential Avoidance

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of multidimensional experiential avoidance in the relationship between rejection sensitivity and interpersonal competence among university students. A total of 228 adult males and females attending universities located in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Chungcheong completed questionnaires. The results of the study were as follows. First, rejection sensitivity showed a significant negative relationship with interpersonal competence. Second, rejection sensitivity showed a significant positive relationship with the multidimensional experiential avoidance. Third, multidimensional experiential avoidance showed a significant negative relationship with interpersonal competence. Fourth, multidimensional experiential avoidance partially mediated the relationship between rejection sensitivity and interpersonal competence. Study implications, limitations and suggestions for follow-up research were also suggested based on the results.
