북한이탈주민의 결혼행복감에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Marital Happiness among North Korean refugees

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to find out correlation and predictors of marital happiness of North Korean refugees in South Korea. This survey was conducted on 200 North Korean refugees with questions on socio-demographic characteristics, mental health factors like depression and anxiety, psychological trauma and stress experience, marital factors in South Korea. The influence of these variables was analysed. Result indicated that marital happiness was correlated with spouse`s nationality, income, education in the South, children left in the North or the China, anxiety, acculturative stress and trauma during escaping. Also marital happiness was positively correlated with marital stability, satisfaction for spouse and marital consistency. The predictors for marital happiness was spouse`s nationality, experience of matrimonial life in the China and the North, children left in the North or the China, anxiety, satisfaction for spouse, and marital consistency, which has explicable power with 70.1%. on the marital happiness for the North Korean refugees in the South.
