부모-자녀간 역기능적 의사소통과 학업스트레스가 청소년의 자살생각에 미치는 영향 - 우울감의 매개효과와 성별 차이를 중심으로 - = The Effects of Parents-Children Dysfunctional Communication and Academic Stress on Adolescents' Suicide Ideation - Focusing on the Mediating Effects of Depression and Gender Differences -

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of the study is to verify the influence of parents on their children's dysfunctional communication, and the influence of academic stress on adolescents’ suicide ideation. In addition, the study will explore if there are any differences between male and female students in the path through multigroup analysis. Finally the data of 670 adolescents were statistically analyzed through the structural equation model by using PASW SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0.
The findings are as follows: As a result of the research, first, it is shown that dysfunctional communication has effects on adolescents’ suicide ideation and depression as risk factor.The analysis results revealed that dysfunctional communication was found to affect suicide ideation directly as well as indirectly through depression. However, academic stress has significant effects on suicide ideation not directly but indirectly through depression. In addition, there are gender differences in the relationship between dysfunctional communication and depression. This result suggests different intervention strategies according to gender. Based on these research results, this study suggests that there is a necessity for intervention for the purpose of prevention of the depression and suicide ideation.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 부모-자녀간의 역기능적 의사소통, 학업스트레스 및 우울감과 자살생각간의 구조적 관계를 남녀 차이를 중심으로 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2010년 서울시 서대문구와 연세대학교 사회복지대학원에서 공동으로 수행한 “아동․청소년의 가정생활 및 학교생활에 관한 연구” 자료를 활용하였다. 본 연구의 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모-자녀간 역기능적 의사소통은 청소년의 우울감과 자살생각에 직접적인 영향을 미침과 동시에 우울감을 통해 자살생각에 간접적인 영향도 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학업스트레스의 경우 우울감을 거쳐 자살생각에 간접적으로는 영향을 미치지만 직접적인 영향은 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 성별에 따른 차이를 살펴본 결과, 남학생의 경우 역기능적 의사소통이 자살생각에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 반면, 여학생의 경우 우울감을 거쳐 자살생각에 이르는 간접효과가 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 통해 성별을 고려하여 청소년의 우울감과 자살생각을 예방할 수 있는 실천 방안을 제언하였다.
