자원봉사 인정과 보상이 청소년의 지역 사회자본에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 자원봉사 인정과 보상이 청소년의 지역의 규범, 신뢰, 사회적 연계망에 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 한다. 자원봉사 인정ㆍ보상이 성별, 연령, 자원봉사 참여기간의 변수로 통제해도 규범, 신뢰, 사회적 연계망에 영향을 미치는지 알아보았다. 조사대상자는 자원봉사 인정과 보상이 진행되고 있는 유스센터와 종합사회복지관의 청소년 자원봉사자 156명이었고, 다중회귀분석을 사용하여 분석하였다. 조사 결과, 자원봉사 인정과 보상은 지역의 규범과 사회적 연계망에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 자원봉사 인정과 보상을 받을수록 청소년의 규범과 사회적 연계망이 높아지는 것을 알 수 있다. 그리고 자원봉사 참여 기간은 규범과 사회적 연계망에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구의 결과는 청소년의 규범의식과 사회적 연계망을 증가시키기 위하여 자원봉사 인정과 보상을 더욱 전략적으로 고려해야 함을 시사한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of recognition and rewards for youth volunteers in terms of norms, trust, and community networks. This study attempts to explain whether or not the recognition and rewards for youth volunteers as an independent variable affects norms, trust, and networks, with the control variables of sex, generation gap, and volunteer work. The data from 156 youth volunteers working at youth centers and social welfare agencies using recognition and rewards management for volunteers were collected. This research made use of descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis. PASW Statistics 18 were used for the purposes of data analysis. The results indicate that the recognition and rewards for youth volunteers affects both norms and networks. It was also found that volunteering affects both norms and networks. The findings of this study suggest that the recognition and rewards for youth volunteers need to be considered strategically in order to encourage youth to become less selfish and more responsible and independent, to increase both norms and networks.
