한국 초기 청소년 공격성척도(K-PCS) 타당화 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 한국 초기 청소년을 대상으로 공격성을 측정하기 위한 척도를 타당화하기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 한영경(2008)이 PCS(Peer Conflict Scale)를 번역 과정을 거쳐 얻은 척도를 검토 및 수정보완 과정을 거친 후 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하였으나, 요인구조가 원척도와 일치하지 않았다. 이에 일부 문항의 제거 과정을 통해 반응적 외현적 공격성(Reactive Overt aggression; RO) 4문항, 주도적 외현적 공격성(Proactive Overt aggression; PO) 4문항, 반응적 관계적 공격성(Reactive Relational aggression; RR) 4문항, 주도적 관계적 공격성(Proactive Relational aggression; PR) 4문항의 최종 16개 문항, 4개 요인을 얻었다. 이를 다시 새로운 표집을 대상으로 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였고 TLI, CFI, RMSEA, AIC 등의 적합도 지수가 양호한 것으로 나타나 4요인 구조가 통계적으로 타당화되었다. 추가적으로, 최종 척도가 남녀 집단간 차이 없이 공통의 이론적 구조를 보이는지 살펴보기 위해 다집단 동등성 검증을 실시한 결과 형태 동일성, 측정 동일성, 부분절편 동일성, 요인분석 동일성을 확보하여 잠재평균 비교분석을 하였다. 또한 최종 척도와 특성분노척도, YSR 공격행동척도, 스트레스척도, 자아존중감척도와의 상관이 유의미하게 나타난 결과는 변별타당도, 수렴타당도 및 준거타당도가 확보된 것임을 보여주는 것이다. 이는 본 척도가 초기 청소년의 심리적 적응을 파악하는 기초적인 상담 자료로 활용될 수 있음을 나타내는 것이라 할 수 있다. 마지막으로, 본 연구의 의의 및 제한점이 논의되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to validate a reduced version of the Korean Peer Conflict Scale(K-PCS) in order to measure the aggression levels of young adolescents. Exploratory factor analysis indicated that the factor structure of the Korean 40 items were not exactly the same as those of the English one. Therefore, we needed to reduce the items of the full scale, and finally decided on 16 items. Exploratory factor analysis with these 16 items was performed for 311 young adolescents and a four-factor structure with 16 items was identified. The four factors thus identified were Reactive Overt aggression(RO), Proactive Overt aggression(PO), Reactive Relational aggression(RR), Proactive Relational aggression(PR). Confirmatory factor analysis with 354 young adolescents was performed and the four-factor structure of K-PCS fitted well to their responses. Additionally, convergent, discriminant, and criterion-related validities were also examined.
